APS - outdoor lunch?

Anonymous
For the last year and a half, the kids at Nottingham enjoyed outdoor lunch.

But then today I find out from my kids that lunch was indoors. No notice from the school. We are disappointed they can’t be outside. They barely get time outside with just recess. I hope they start it back up.

The letters from our kids' teachers that we got at the open house last week said that lunch would be in the cafeteria (NES).

Our ES was outside today for lunch. My child’s only complaint was the bugs.

One kid was definitely outside, my other one said he was inside. He's not really a reliable reporter, though.

Why does it matter when no kids are wearing masks anyway? Did you see the first day class photos from the teachers? Our elementary has at most 3 kids in each class - and no teachers - wearing masks.

Because it's nice to have outdoor lunch, not anything to do with covid. My kid prefers it. It's less loud, less chaotic. Fresh air. Why wouldn't you want the option of outdoor lunch?

Really? Still plenty of masks in my kids' school.
