Diet soda so I don’t snack?

Drink the diet soda.

Just don't drink gallons of it. Do you expect to be perfect? That's not happening. Drink the soda.

People act like diet soda is poison. Is it really worse than coffee, wine? I like Coke Zero cherry and I have it maybe 2x a week instead of my usual afternoon coffee

I lost 65 lbs in the past 13 months -- a large part of my success was due to diet soda and black coffee (which I used to quell hunger quite a bit). Obviously not good for me, but neither was the sugar, alcohol, and processed foods that I have almost entirely eliminated.

To answer your question, yes diet soda is far worse and coffee or wine because of the chemicals in it. It also perpetuates the sugar addiction by introducing aspartame to the body. So if you are having a hard time kicking sugar OP diet soda will make your cravings worse.

This!

I am like the other PP who lost weight with a combo of pseudo-IF, coffee/diet soda. Is the diet soda health food? No, but the extra 35 pounds I was carrying wasn’t healthy either.

Now that I’ve lost the weight, I try to do sparkling water instead, but I do rely on the diet soda also.

Natural news? Give me a break. I don’t want to drink Kombucha, wear natural deodorant, and follow Phish.

Of course, how silly! Far better to get cancer

Eh. I’m going to die of something. Cancer, Covid, diabetes, heart problems. I can use sunscreen and die of cancer from those chemicals or I can expose myself to the sun and get skin cancer.

Can’t avoid everything, so people need to choose what works for them.

Not to be mean, but all the diet soda drinkers are a little chubby. Always confused by that. Their diet isn’t the greatest, but they always have that diet soda to counterbalance their so do diet in their heads.

Turn your brain on. They started drinking diet soda because they were already chubby.

I drink diet soda and I'm not chubby. I simply prefer it. The sugar in regular soda makes me feel sick.

Chubby or over 50. This is a boomer favorite.
