Most important: No snacking. Stressed and need to snack? Drink tea, chew gum, or drink water.

This. I lost the bulk of my weight without much of a focus on exercise. When I started exercising I actually started eating more.

My number one tip is to meal prep as much as possible. It's so much easier to eat healthy when you don't have to think about to eat or figure out what to do for each meal.

A much misunderstood component ^^^ this.

I spent about a month working 60 weeks at the beginning of the pandemic. The problem with working that much is you’re sitting in front of a blue screen computer and the stress of the day piles on. I often felt like I was going to have a heart attack due to the stress. I would log out of meetings and my fingers would be tingling from the elevated heart rate. After a day like that sleep doesn’t come easily. I ended up gaining 15 pounds. The stress was crippling.

This. And in addition to the sitting and the stress, I ate a lot of junk food because it’s quick and soothing. I had to quit my 12-14 hours a day job because it was clear that my health was suffering. Am improving habits and exercise and slowly losing the weight.

OP: I wish you luck. I was not able to get a handle on managing it.
