There is already enough gun violence in DC. Letting republicans loose to add more guns to "solve" the problem will not help.

The democrats have great ideas but they need to have a definite end date. The problem with these programs is that they allow and encourage generational poverty and government dependency.

They already run Texas. It is a disaster. Sky high crime rates in all the major cities. You have to drive for 3-6 hours to reach a healthcare facilities for the vast majority of the state. Fort Worth, Texas, has a Republican mayor and also saw a 27-year high in homicides in 2021, so if for some reason you think Republicans automatically cure crime, maybe think again.
