I don't think disagree with your point that this message is pushed by GOP media. However, the only media that I consume is The Washington Post (which leans left) and the Economist (traditionally right-leaning, now it's more centrist and left-ish on social issues). I'm talking about my experiences with people in real life. I completely agree with your points that Republicans have died off at much greater rates due to COVID, which will impact their voter pool. |

The Dems idea of marketing is suppressing free thought and discourse.
It is not working very well!!!! |
“Free thought” |
It’s not the framing that sucks. It’s the actual messages and actual proposals. Speaking as a Democrat who plans to cast (an hopefully one-time) backlash vote in November, I agree. First of all, the far left lunatics who have hijacked the party are hardheaded and fascistic. They accuse anyone who doesn’t sign onto all of their excesses of being a Republican plant and they have plans to take the party even further left. They are every bit as beholden to white multimillionaires and billionaires as Republicans are, except that their masters are the fringe elements of the LGBTQ and race pimp lobby. The Democratic Party needs to suffer some painful and humiliating losses in order to abandon this foray into madness and get back on track. Before anyone starts carrying on with a white nationalist accusations, I’m a racial minority. The idea that racial minorities sign onto this bullsh-t is complete nonsense. The numbers show that Democrats are losing racial minorities. Compare 2016 percentages to 2020 if you dare face reality. |
If you think the Democrats are the hard-headed fascists, you’re a dumbass. |
You don’t know the meaning of the word suppression. |
| I'm sure both sides have plenty of money and use it to employ professionals, whether it's consultants, lobbies, or whatever way they can exert influence. I'm not even sure one side has more gaffes than the other, but perhaps one base is just more willing to put up with them. Who knows? |
DP. I think pp was talking about people just like you. |
Oh, look, an airtight argument. It’s a real mystery the party is losing voters with verbally abusive fascists like you as the new base. |
But their policies work really well. Go figure. |
Disagreeing with a stupid statement is not fascism. Using violence, corruption, and conspiracy to try to overturn an election is fascism. Banning books and lessons that offer a different perspective is fascism. Concocting and perpetuating conspiracy theories to incite racists and fools is fascism. Organizing an entire political party around disinformation and imaginary grievances and promising to lock up your political opponents is fascism. |
Good plan. While you are sending “woke twitter” a message, the lunatics that republicans are electing to office are going to more forward with actual government sanctioned and enforced fascism. They are looking to roll back the clock on birth control and inter racial marriage. Good plan. |
| I subscribe to lots of social media from both sides, the right goes LOW. The politicians of the left are not playing quite as dirty. |
+10000 well put! |
Do you understand democracy works? You have to get the majority of voters on your side. If you turn off voters due to rudeness, belligerence, and arrogance on top of some of the insane ideas some in this thread have already addressed, then you will lose. Losers get nothing. You’re going to be on the curb screaming into the wind about Republicans this and Republicans that. November will soon be here and then we will remind you how democracy works. |
