| #8 on LAMB Kingsbury WL. PK3. Any hope? |
I think you’ll get in. Waitlist typically makes it to 15 or so. |
Post lottery application |
But the #14 should already reflect sibling preference? |
I think they have to register the other one to get sibling preference. |

1st grade. #17 at Lee Brookland, #15 at Inspired.
1. Chances of getting off the wait list? 2. Chances of getting off the wait list in time to secure aftercare? (We heard from friends at Inspired that some families didn't get aftercare this year--has that changed?) |
Chances are very good at both. ITS tends to move its list late in the summer FYI. The issue with aftercare at ITS is YMCA staffing, so it's hard to say. |

Bad master number
#38 at Whittier #38 at Cap City PK3 |
We are #30 at Whittier and #18 and CapCity. PK3, no preference. I assumed a "middle of the road" master number with those. |

Washington Latin PCS – Cooper Campus ~40's
Inspired Teaching Demonstration PCS ~10's 6th grade Chances to get in either? |
| chances are good for both. Watch out for Inspired Teaching, though. They don't pull from their waitlist until really late and I have noticed some strange (tricky?) practices there, when we've gotten off the waitlist (this most recently happened last year for my 6th grader), like getting the MySchoolDC offer and ITDS then closing the offer without any communication with the family. |
Both are good. I'm not bullish on people taking their Cooper spots. I'm #10 and really on the fence as to whether it's worth the chance. ITS is a lock, but move very quickly because they'll give you about 48 hours to accept and submit paperwork. |
Agree with this. I think people will be skittish and the Cooper list will move a lot. |
The fact that a buddy of my kid matched and is going (allegedly) is why l am considering - but that building does look bad 😅 |

Thoughts on our chances of getting off waitlist at any of these schools for a kindergarten slot?
