What to eat with oatmeal for more calories?

Make the oatmeal savory vs sweet. Plain oatmeal with cream and salted butter is a great base for anything. Top with a fried egg and avocado, add a little table salt (iodine) and pepper.

OP here. Yes, I can have almond milk, but not whole unprocessed nuts, it's not an allergy, but I have a very hard time digesting whole nuts/seeds and end up with an upset stomach for days if I eat them. I am going to try the yogurt. Not sure about nut butter, haven't really tried those. Wouldn't the overpower the taste?

If you try nut butter, be careful about how creamy it really is. I can eat Trader Joes creamy peanut butter not not Smucker's. It contains too many bits of that outer portion of the almond (I forget what it's called).

Try baked oatmeal, it usually uses an egg to bind so that would make it more nutrient dense than regular.
