With FCPS having lost 10,000 kids over the past two years, it seems people are starting to take “move on” literally. It’s a shame that Brabrand and the School Board have done so much damage in such a short time. Hiring “equity” hacks is just one manifestation of their incompetence.

I don't think it's a shame that 10,000 have moved on. Hopefully most of them are the TJ whiners who think the world revolves around them. I have to say, at least the equity hack was able to get accomplished what many have wanted to do for years. Mission accomplished! Good for her!

I'm all for the changes at TJ, but I still noticed how awful her statement was in saying nothing with a lot of meaningless words.

SOL already showed existing gaps in all categories got bigger. VGA will probably show the same. So by definition we go the opposite of equity. Guess she's the fall person for their pandemic response.

Nardos King was not a good principal who played huge favorites among the teachers in her school. I was disturbed she became an assistant superintendent once Brabrand came in, but this is even worse. Now she's in charge of TJ and discipline.

Diminished budget but fewer students. FCPS was much better when it was smaller. 190,000 students in one school district is unmanageable. I'm ok with a smaller districts.

Every day is a new thread with some manufactured problem at FCPS. This isn't accountability. It's BS. Most parents are perfectly happy with FCPS now that they're back in school.
