Hey OP a few nights ago my kid ate a cucumber and milk and peanut m&ms idk why it grossed me out lol! Just imagine their tiny stomachs all confused lol what are you feeding me?!

NP, but this didn't strike me as such a "weird food combo." It also didn't feel like a humblebrag, but it was odd to me at the same time. To me this was like, "OMG so weird you guys?? Today my kid decided to eat seaweed snacks and a peanut butter sandwich and watermelon for dinner?! Wild, huh?"

Basically a protein that's pretty common, a raw vegetable and a fruit.

Hummus, spinach and fruit is only wacky if you think kids are almost genetically programmed to eat chicken nuggets and mac and cheese-- or only rice, chicken, corn and apples or something. Or if you think those flavors... clash? Or perhaps if your family only eats sort of comprehensive, traditional planned meals, and doesn't ever pick at this and that. I'm so wacky! This morning I had a leftover egg roll, a cup of oatmeal and a peach!

So, yeah, I don't really get it.

I don’t think this is a humble brag post. I have a kindergartner who had for dinner earlier tonight 1. baby corn from a can, 2. lychee juice. 3. a couple slices of Prosciutto. And that’s it. His choice when he rejected the chicken, rice, and veggies we were eating. I just want him to eat after a long day at school!

I sincerely regret clicking on this thread, as there are few things that annoy me more that this specific behavior. "My 3 yr old decided to practice her French while enjoying some kimchi. Kids this age are so funny!" Ugh.

Ugh absolutely. Get over yourself OP
