What did my 3yo eat for dinner, you ask?

Why, just a half cup of hummus, a dozen raw spinach leaves, and an entire persimmon. 3 is SUCH a weird age. Had to share. What oddball foods are your kids into?

My kids never ate any of those at that age, congrats!

Once, my 3 year old had ketchup for dinner. That is all. Well, maybe a glass of milk also.

My child (five now, but this has been the case since 2) will eat any quantity of straight parmesan cheese you will allow her. She won't eat a carrot or a pea or anything green, she's lukewarm on virtually all protein, but a 2 ounce hunk of parmesan? Absolutely she wants that.

I sincerely regret clicking on this thread, as there are few things that annoy me more that this specific behavior. "My 3 yr old decided to practice her French while enjoying some kimchi. Kids this age are so funny!" Ugh.

Cheese she found on the floor. Cool story OP.

Lol. My two year old his similar, but he specifically wants to gnaw on the entire hunk of cheddar. Don’t you dare cut it up or shred it, just hand him the whole block.

I'm familiar with this. My 4 year old loves pasta, by which she means she loves gently scraping the shredded parmesan off the noodles and then asking for "more cheese, please." Sometimes I try to convince myself that she is getting some other nutrients by virtue of some of the sauce sticking to the cheese. But realistically, she has eaten entire meals that were 90% parmesan cheese.

No I swear! Not a humblebrag! She turned down what we were having for this randomness. Believe me she eats a lot of Kix and Dino nuggets and her fair share of macaroni and cheese. The other morning she said no to Cheerios and fruit and asked for chicken noodle soup and seaweed snacks. Kids are weird and it made me LOL 😂

Def a humble brag. But mine did like dolmas, borek, donuts and pea-based chocolate milk.

DP. My 3yo also likes to eat cheese like an apple, just taking bites right out of the wedge.

Oh WOW, OP, you’re special and your kid is a genius!

(P.S. My kids eat everything, but this was just a doofus humblebrag.)
