This site is so toxic now …a few years ago folks would chime in with the crazy food combos of their toddler but because it’s a fruit people go crazy. Hey OP a few nights ago my kid ate a cucumber and milk and peanut m&ms idk why it grossed me out lol! Just imagine their tiny stomachs all confused lol what are you feeding me?!
NP, but this didn't strike me as such a "weird food combo." It also didn't feel like a humblebrag, but it was odd to me at the same time. To me this was like, "OMG so weird you guys?? Today my kid decided to eat seaweed snacks and a peanut butter sandwich and watermelon for dinner?! Wild, huh?" Basically a protein that's pretty common, a raw vegetable and a fruit. Hummus, spinach and fruit is only wacky if you think kids are almost genetically programmed to eat chicken nuggets and mac and cheese-- or only rice, chicken, corn and apples or something. Or if you think those flavors... clash? Or perhaps if your family only eats sort of comprehensive, traditional planned meals, and doesn't ever pick at this and that. I'm so wacky! This morning I had a leftover egg roll, a cup of oatmeal and a peach! So, yeah, I don't really get it.
