What did my 3yo eat for dinner, you ask?

No one asked actually.

Lol. Sounds like my kids. My 2 yo would be happy with this meal though would scoop the hummus with his hands and then when he decided he was done eating he would rub it all over his hands like lotion.

Yesterday my 2 yo and 4 yo ate an entire 1.5 lb pack of cherry tomatoes as I was cooking dinner. And then, predictably, were not interested at all in dinner.

Ignore the humblebrag posters, op. Kids are funny.

Mine does the hummus lotion thing too. I’ve definitely shown up to work with hummus smears I didn’t notice. So gross.

I'm familiar with this. My 4 year old loves pasta, by which she means she loves gently scraping the shredded parmesan off the noodles and then asking for "more cheese, please." Sometimes I try to convince myself that she is getting some other nutrients by virtue of some of the sauce sticking to the cheese. But realistically, she has eaten entire meals that were 90% parmesan cheese.

Wow is this a thing? My 3 year old will eat Parmesan cheese with a spoon and we thought he was just a little weirdo. Ha! He is a terrible eater no spinach any where near him though.

Wow so many rude PPs here! Maybe they need more fiber in their diet like your kid, OP.

I have a 2 1/2 year-old who is newly obsessed with cold green beans out of the can. Must be cold! Can’t warm them up and he asks for them for every meal. Hey, it’s a vegetable so I will take it Kids are funny that way.

Yup. My 2 year old will eat frozen peas and her weight in fruit but no meat. But seaweed snacks and parmezan and a whole pomegranate including swallowing the seeds. At her age my oldest would eat raw cabbage but not buttered toast.

Pretty sure we are going to the McDonalds drive thru tonight.

I thought the OP was mocking someone else's Facebook post.

Yes, mine also loves Pom arrils and you’ve just reminded me I should get some more for the house for her snacking. She is almost 5 and has been obsessed with pickled beets since she was two years old. My husband and I can’t stand them but I dutifully buy them every week. She also eats salad with blue cheese dressing multiple night a week. Can’t get a fish stick or nugget on her plate though. Preschoolers, man.

Aww, you sound hungry.

My now 4 year old was obsessed with frozen vegetables at that age (well, still is). And black olives. I could give her a plate of olives and frozen broccoli, green beans, and.. well, whatever, and she’d be happy.

How funny, OP! When my oldest was around that age he lived for creamed spinach and could not get enough, and also was really into sushi (probably not so adventurous these days but back then it was). My youngest at age 3 would order Cobb salads at restaurants. The waitresses were always like “excuse me, what?!” Now they are preteens and only want pizza, haha.

I did not read OP as a humblebrag.

As a Vietnamese household, persimmon is a common fruit in our house. Hummus is too for some reason. When my kids were little, they ate all kinds of things, in weird ratios and at weird times of the day.

This site is so toxic now …a few years ago folks would chime in with the crazy food combos of their toddler but because it’s a fruit people go crazy.

Hey OP a few nights ago my kid ate a cucumber and milk and peanut m&ms idk why it grossed me out lol! Just imagine their tiny stomachs all confused lol what are you feeding me?!

My 4yo ate vegetable soup with lentils, roasted plantain, grilled salmon, apple slices and 2 clementines. She was hungry after running around the playground all afternoon. Do I win the thread?
