Huh? How would that help public schools?

What happens when schools can’t staff enough teachers? Classes get bigger for those who still remain on the profession?

OR eliminate the 100% jab mandate.

nobody cares about this..its a non issue.

Based on the percentage of vaccinated teachers I'd say that many were glad of the protection.

I’m a teacher and would leave if the shot was not mandated.

I'm a para and also agree. There is no way I'd work with an unvaccinated teacher. I don't know any school staff who have left because of the vaccine mandate but I do know a bunch of people who said they'd quit if it didn't happen, myself included.

I agree, but I’m hoping we can go mask optional by spring.

No masks is worse than unvaccinated.

It won 't help. Just saying its not sad to those who can afford private. Limousine liberals send their kids to private and continue to let public schools flounder in wokeness and ineptitude.

Nope. And you out yourself as an imbecile every time you say “jab.” Just thought you should know.

Same. There is NO WAY that I would work with an unvaccinated teacher. I also feel strongly that masks need to stay on everyone until at least 90% of the children are vaccinated. That is my other non-negotiable. I will walk if masks come off before then.

I’m a high school teacher. Cases are low and most students were vaccinated before the beginning of the school year. I haven’t had any positives cases in my classes all year. I’m thinking about resigning if we have to continue wearing masks next year. I don’t want to wear them now.

I’m an ES teacher. We have ~950 students on our building. I think we’ve had 11 reported cases total. None of the students sent home from our CARES room (FCPS) have tested positive. Once all elementary students have had an opportunity to get vaccinated I honestly think we should be able to go mask optional, so I hope by spring. If not then, when?

Not happening until next school year in the fall.

I use the mask as a chin diaper and forged the vaccine card. I don’t conform to the BS. lmfao @ the posters thinking they’re working around non “vaccined” humans… you’re likely working with them. Chances are I’m in your school. Pity you and your senseless irrational paranoia.

Bragging about commuting a felony on the internet. Hope you don’t think that “anonymous” posts are untraceable. What a dim bulb.

You think?

I'd rather have everyone vaccinated and unmasked than everyone masked and unvaccinated.

I know in a few elementary classes when a sub can't be found, the kids get distributed into other classes in that grade.

When it happens in HS, the kids are sent to the auditorium or cafeteria (depending on the time of day) for a study hall period. They're told to do hw during that class period for another class or do anything else that's quiet. My kids report that most kids just play on their phones or sleep.

Science. You should try it.

True. Science. That’s probably why PP is better off without an experiment and relying more on his/her choices.

They don’t want to help public school. They want to completely defund it for vouchers for crappy unregulated charters.

Which leads to more work on existing teachers...and then the blame comes from parents that their child isn't getting a quality education. Also, better not offer them incentives to stay or come on board for that matter (you know higher pay, days off) they already have it so easy.

I seem to recall that it doesn't matter whether the children's teachers were actually trained at all, or even teachers -- any warm body would do, just so long as the school was open. And then there was a lot of ranting about, pajamas? Or something.

It's likely to keep getting worse.
