DP. Morphine does not have the same affect as oxy, they work differently. My mother has to take oxy for severe pain. Her physician controls and monitors it tightly. |
| Anyone else cried during that intervention scene for Betsy? |
| I can barely watch this anymore, but I can't not watch. That final scene. Wow. |
| WOW! So good. |
| This is so difficult to watch but it’s so good. |
Yes!! That scene absolutely gutted me. I also cried watching her parents' plea, given their prior lack of support. So moving. The new episode is the most difficult to watch yet. I watched half and then had to take a break. |
| About to watch the latest episode. The worst for me was when the lady from the AA meeting gives her Oxy in the bathroom. And seeing Dr Finnix addicted is heartbreaking. |
Ditto. Post surgical and cancer pain is exactly what it’s for. It was a godsend when my mom was dying. When you have weeks left to live getting addicted really isn’t a practical concern. |
| The book by Beth Macy was excellent |
I don’t know if I could read the book. The show is really good but watching it is not easy. |
|
The scene in the last episode when Fennix asks the sales rep if he can get him pills.
I'm wondering if that's the breaking point for the sales rep. |
| This show is so good. The latest episode ( 7) had me equally in tears and furious at those horrible Sacklers and FDA. Disgusting. |
It’s so infuriating that this family is still one of the richest in the world…riches built on destroying lives. |
| Such a good show! I think there’s only 1 or 2 episodes left. Any recommendations on what to watch next that is equally as good? |
