The U13 FCV girls team is awful- worst in the Mid Atlantic region, the U15 team is mediocre. Once the 04 and 05 teams are done, the club will be done. They aren't what Bobby sells them as, regardless of how many times he tweets that they are. |
Stay tuned. |
For what? More wild speculation that FCV will get into ECNL? Or ECNL will drop BRYC? Or dogs running onto fields? |
The Girls Academy is not irrelevant, they are empowering and focused on the freedoms of member clubs while working cooperatively with all stakeholders, from club directors to the players themselves. Everything about ECNL is about Club and NOTHING about ECNL, is focused on freedom.. they demand loyalty, fealty, and compliance from coaches and players. It's an incredibly ff'ed'up mindset that has plagued elite, travel, and professional soccer for decades. The leadership of the GA league is incredible and a total threat to ECNL . . not just in NOVA but across the USA. At some point, the players who are skilled, athletic, and love what they do will be the ones coaches recruit. Not sure that is the type of player ECNL is churning out |

Best fiction I've read in years. Thanks for that. Truly. |
Does this sound like a parent, unaffiliated person or someone that runs the FCV Twitter and website? |
You are a fool. Listen to me. I am 100 % a parent. I live in DC. |
| Bawhaaaaa. |
Not fiction, just actual perspective. I am sorry if that feels threatening to whatever power trip you have but it's so true. |
Ramblings of a lunatic. Is that why you have to spend every night spewing bs on this forum. I can smell the desperation from here. |
You meant to say Frederick. |
What does that mean? What’s the inside joke? |
Nope. I mean, maybe some of us, but those are probably the parents of the players who can’t keep up against the better competition in ECNL. This first year was always going to be a tough year. I think Arlington will get better over time and overall rise in the rankings - player pool is there. Now, the oldest teams, that’s where the sadness is because they’re not doing as well as the younger and those girls/parents are used to winning. Much drama. |
