University of Florida is tied for 5th best Public University! UF keeps on rising as number 28 overall this year. Go Gators!!!
Chomp Chomp |
How has Wake Forest, which had already been test optional so only those with the highest scores submit, hang on at 28 tied with Tufts when it has much lower standardized scores? Wake also is ahead of schools schools like Rochester, Boston College, Georgia Tech, William & Mary, BU, etc. that all have higher scores as well. It is a fine school, but I've never understood its ranking. |
There are way more than 25 that could make some sort of claim to top 25 depending on how you look at it and what matters to you. |
Wow University of Florida at #28 |
+1 |
+1, same. But, at least its ranking has been relatively stable over the years. |
Well deserved.!! |
UC Davis is tied with Georgia Tech, UT Austin, and William & Mary. I don't get that. |
Who are the biggest movers?? |
Of course. Just as you could fill the incoming classes of T10 schools with highly qualified students at least 10 times over the number normally admitted and not lose any quality. That's why the rankings are largely meaningless. |
There seems to be very little significant movement. Last big change was when they started factoring Pell grants. |
They should be, but they are unfortunately significant for a segment of the population. |
University of Florida rise over the past several years. |
Formula shifted to weight student debt and pell % very heavily. Florida and California schools are national leaders in both. |
Columbia?
No. This survey has NO credibility. |
