You must be a UChicago parent. Only Chicago parents have ever complained about Parchment ranking it too low below its “peer” schools. Lol. |

If the results are in color, then the difference is statistically significant at a 95% confidence level." Ones that are not in color have low numbers and therefore are not significant. I didn't look at all of the ones above, but Wake and Princeton are not in color. The low numbers of cross-admits may well be largely special cases like athletes. Parchment returns significant numbers for schools that have bigger overlaps in applications, which will likely not be the schools above. |

Fame is subjective. |
No, the peer reputation score is made by surveying university presidents and deans, whose opinions are manifold more credible than the anonymous posters with big opinions on DCUM. |
I think so, the peer Reputation ranking are different numbers. Harvard is a 4.9 |
No, you’re thinking of a prior year’s scores. These are the updated peer reputation scores, from the survey that university presidents fill out. |
No it's this year's scores, I just looked, I have a subscription. And Harvards reputation would never change from year to year. It's 4.9 . |
Can you post this year's actual ranking? |

It’s the Berkeley booster cherry-picking data again. We’re talking about the overall US News ranking, not those of “anonymous posters with big opinions.” People keep explaining to you that validity of the peer reputation data is low, which is why US News doesn’t put more weight on it. -NP |
What's the basis of this list? Is this the actual peer assessment -based ranking?? |
I personally like the WSJ and Forbes rankings better |
