Parents got a emailed letter.

Every parent in the district? Or just high school parents?

You are right that the problem is not political, but the solution necessarily involves politics. B/c the SB has to change to get some accountability from Gatehouse. The current lot backs Reid 100%, which is why she felt comfortable sending that ridiculous letter. If this thread doesn’t realize this, then you are all just spitting into the wind.

BTW, this is a great thread w/a lot passion, but relatively small potatoes compared to the real damage coming out of Gatehouse. Go visit some of threads on skills based grading (SBG), those will make your head spin.

Completely agree. I want Reid fired for all the other damage and hope this fiasco leads to her firing. But you're saying nothing will change until the next election and even then nothing will change because people blindly vote Democrat in Fairfax County.

Typos happens goof sorry I meant donut! Get over it and stop giving yourself a blow job. The Judge made the decision. Live with it and stop being a donkey. Let the kids play and use this as motivation for an upset!! NVM only upset will happen is you posting about Hayfield winning.

Didn’t Reid come from student total population of 22,000? She seems to not be able to make the jump to supporting 180,000 in FCPS. Instead has gone the other way and now supporting only 1 football team. And to write such a misleading email to all of FCPS is disturbing. And if true as one paper alleged that she questioned SoCo coach for racism, he should sue FCPS. Maybe see if Blankenship will take the case!

I really think people will vote out a lot of Democrats as long as the republican candidates aren’t book burner/religious nutters. That crap got us where we are today.

FCPS looked at 14 residences for students who registered at Hatfield. VHSL looked at 24 students in connection with recruiting violations and spirit of game violations across 2 different schools. That FCPS found no issues does not change what VHSL found.

Also the Reid "investigation" had the investigators informing the players when they would be coming to their homes to confirm residency. This has been widely reported and confirmed.

If this is standard procedure for the residency investigating office, they all need to be fired. How absurd.

Her email was written by a lawyer.

Honest answer - because the cheating coach and the players and their families are from a certain community that is "disadvantaged" and therefore consider themselves above the rules, and Superintendent Reid is a die-hard progressive.

This is what I thought. It doesn't make sense for her to deny what the other investigation found.

If this is true, I think this will all end very badly for Reid.

Yes, but gotta start somewhere. (The lemmings need a wake-up call) But, if you have better idea, please do tell.

She may have had a lawyer look it over (or a committee) but it reads like all of her other letters.

The ignorance of the MAGA lot (which overlaps considerably with the Overton lot if you get to know them) is startling...

That was appalling: the situation was so patently obviously wrong and she was all-in on gaslighting and cover-up. I agree, but why do you think, she thinks, she can get away with this ? Zero accountability. She has PH.D, must be smart.

Ha! Her doctorate is in education. "Dr. Reid received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington, master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Washington"

Educational leadership. Most of the problems at Gatehouse are because of the people who have a PhD in education.

Is really all you can contribute ? Call someone MAGA and racist ? Why don’t you breakdown the logic and tell me where it is wrong?

If a lawyer read over it, should fire lawyer as a lot very wrong and misleading in it and professional ethics could lead to disbarment
