The Trump Women and their Fashion Mishaps - Part Three

She looks fabulous in this picture.

Oh, for god's sake. Her pants look fine. They're sitting just above her shoes. You will find fault with the most absurd details. She looks lovely here.

He wears a shirt with his name on it because of course he does.

He looks even more like an egg here.

He’s rich, but instead of paying for his shirts to be embroidered, he’s got iron on patches with his name and former title (if this photo was indeed from last August). He’s so tacky. Imagine being a former President of the United States and needing an ego boost from iron on patches. Sad.

This is the weirdest attack ever and also the shirt is embroidered? But either way, what a strange thing to fixate on.

Some things on this thread are legitimately odd - Kimberly Guilfoyle, for instance. But there is a poster (or two) who, when bored, start to pick apart the most ridiculous things. It's as if they're not getting enough real content, so they have to resort to making up inane criticism.

I don’t think very many other former presidents have walked around with their name and former title on their shirts.

Oh, the horror.

It's like she's been reading this thread!!! But if she has a stylist, it's a really bad one.

That said, she looks nice in this picture except her hair, as always, is horrible. I don't love the blouse, but that's just a style thing, I hate the pussy bow trend.

I think she looks nice here and I like the hair. I agree that ivory probably isn’t her best color and I’m sort of sick of the pussy bow thing, but it’s a perfectly fine outfit. She clearly likes neutrals better than jewel tones, and the ivory is a million times better than the sand or taupe or mustard.

+1
I think the ivory looks lovely against her skin tone and I like the pants, which appear to be a dark burgundy or brown... hard to tell. But she looks great.

Her pants need to be touching the ground. Wide leg pants either need to be very dropped or down on the ground.

I disagree — I think they look really dumb when the hem is on the ground.

+1
They just sweep up dirt and dust and look ridiculous. Hers are cut at just the right spot to avoid that.

Wow. This is a really stupid subheading.
The most impressive person in the job since Abigail Adams is J.D.’s best asset if he ever runs for president. She sits down with The Free Press for her first interview in her new role.

From appearance/style to presence, speaking, and poise, she is no where near the top of the list of first ladies.

This makes me think she's even more of a loser than I thought. As far as fashion, this is at least a good photo and she does not yet look like a Maralago Barbie doll.

This is my impression (albeit in writing) of Usha announcing she was going to Greenland.

"Hello! My name is Usha. Vance. And I am so excited to. Announce that I am going. To Greenland."

You know in elementary school when you do read-alouds and in the early grades kids haven't figured out the pacing yet? So they read each line as a sentence even if the sentence is broken into multiple lines? God love them, they're like eight, but I would expect an OMG YALE graduate to know better. (Btw, did you guys know she went to Yale? She's so cool!)

Are you ok?

It’s because she wears frumpiness like a badge of honor. She’s not like other women!

Yep. She is prettier than other women mentioned here (if you deduct surgery, dye, extensions etc) and can afford all the embellishments they use but she doesn't care that much. That's what's unique about her.

God no, there is nothing unique about Usha Vance. She is an average looking woman with an extremely poor fashion sense, JD is of course a dough boy, what a pairing! Also, she wants the perks of the position but doesn't care all that much to run a comb through her hair, WTF? Stop defending this woman, she is as despicable as her joke of a husband.

DP. I couldn't disagree more. I think she has a great head of hair and good (enough) fashion sense. I've never seen her look awful, the way you and your cabal of mean girls pretend she always does. She looks fine, and in this particular picture, she looks beautiful.

Look, we get that you hate her, but this is a fashion forum. You're clearly not able to separate your irrationally extreme feelings about this woman with what she chooses to wear. Do you generally overreact to such an extent?

Gorgeous! They look like sisters.

Omg, in the 3rd photo in that Insta post, is that Marla’s mother (the elderly woman between Marla and Tiffany)? I don’t love what she’s wearing, but damn, she looks amazing too. Marla’s 61, so her mom is probably in her 80s. Tiffany will be lucky if she ages like those ladies.

Marla is the most beautiful of Trump’s wives. Melania is a close second.

Exactly, this is a fashion forum. No one is talking about her politics or even her dh's. We are talking about her fashion sense, or lack thereof. She is an objectively frumpy woman; she even acknowledges that it's not her gig by saying "I didn't know JD was getting picked so I didn't have outfits planned for the RNC" (which, btw, I don't believe) "this job doesn't come with a stylist," "I dress like someone with three kids and a dog" (still unclear what that means, plenty of women with three kids and a dog dress well. Kate Middleton comes to mind). etc. She is just not into fashion.

Fwiw, I don't really comment on the Trump sisters or wives. For all of Ivanka's flaws, for example, she is usually well-dressed and looks put together, even if it's not a look I'd choose myself. Usha and Kimberly Guilfoyle are the only ones within that inner circle who look truly bad.

😂🤣😂. Is this one of Usha’s friends or something? She dresses badly and is a fascist, it’s not mean to point this out. Well it’s a little mean but maybe this isn’t the thread for you. We just talked about how a pregnant woman’s dress looked like a sexy granny nightie so…

No, I really do believe she has friends who read here. It's weird someone always comes out when we discuss Usha. This person never has a problem with people snarking on Ivanka/Tiffany/Melania - which, as you note, we literally just made fun of Tiffany's baby shower dress and they didn't call us liberal shills then!

It's close but not quite there. I like the top. Her hair looks good (though would be annoying in real life, always over one eye). The belt looks wrong. I like the pants but something is a little off about them. Can't tell what shoes she's wearing.

Her hair is always over one eye which would annoy me personally but at least here it's voluminous and looks purposely done instead of hanging in her face all limp.
