Read a book. The monarch cannot remove someone from the line of succession and can’t strip hereditary titles. Although she could certainly take back the Sussex titles. |
No, it’s not the IVF that makes me sick. At all. It’s the fact that she stands for honesty and transparency, yet keeps this secret, that could also help other women. And the fact that she wrote her miscarriage article while pregnant and/or knowing she had healthy embryos waiting for her at her disposal, while coming off as a woman without the privilege she does. |
Oh pish! If a monarch can make up a new church and make themselves the head of the Anglican church, removing Harry& Megan should be a piece of cake. Like swatting annoying flies. |
You know that church thing caused a little bit of a civil war and the succeeding monarch murdered tens of thousands of people to put down an insurrection as a result? She was called Bloody Mary for a reason. |
Having healthy embryos does not make miscarriage any less painful. |
I hate Meghan, too, but a loss is a loss. She's allowed to grieve her miscarriage and complain about it. |
How any female conceives is not your business..and the fact that they announced they are expecting does not make it your business! What next, im the interest of transparency and honesty you want to see her ovulation chart? You want to know how often she had sex with her husband? You are ridiculous! |
Here’s what I don’t get: all the gossip rags saying William is furious with Harry for leaving since it means more work/pressure on William and his wife.
I mean, doesn’t Harry stepping aside make it easier to streamline the firm? Once Charles takes the crown, let’s assume 15-20 years of him running the show. His sister is very active, and they will get by with the current team. By the time William takes over, his own kids will be adults who can step up. |
DP I think it’s fair to call out celebrities who pretend it was easy to conceive despite AMA when the reality is they’re using eggs frozen years ago. If she wants to be authentic, why not share? Why not encourage other women to do the same? That’s the criticism. It’s legit since so many women were fed a lie that it’s easy to get pregnant in your 40s with your own eggs and no medical intervention. Celebrities fed us that lie. |
Which celebrity fed you the lie that it’s easy to get pregnant in your 40s? |
Nicole Kidman JLo All of the ones who had babies in their 40s |
Mariah Carey suffered a miscarriage and infertility, but she claimed she conceived her twins with the help of acupuncture.
Jennifer Lopez made quick work of IVF claims – she said she was too traditional to accept help. If children were not meant to be she would never have conceived, according to one report. Nicole Kidman is probably the most far-fetched of all. She claimed it was healing waters in Australia that helped her conceive. |

I would have a lot of respect for M if she admits she froze her eggs early on and encourages others to do the same. |
This is such a ridiculous and trite argument. How many woe as me threads are in the relationship and offtopic forums about DCUM despising the inlaws. How many DCUM responders tell the poster just ignore MIL or don't allow your children around the inlaws, yada, yada, yada. Maybe you are not married and do not know any better, but you don't have to get along with the inlaws to love your spouse and have a happy marriage. You just don't. |
Honestly anyone who believes this is seeking confirmation bias in the face of overwhelming evidence. I’m 36 and have always known the clock was ticking. Having kids was super important to me so I started trying at 29 (obviously because I was fortunate enough to find someone to have them with by then). I think it’s totally totally fine to not want kids but people who wait till 40 when they could have tried earlier are playing at a casino, the deck is stacked against them and if they’d have been paying attention they’d know that. No one deserves access to anyone’s health records. I’ve never heard a word criticizing Kate Middleton for not talking about the difficulties she faced (and I suffered from hyperemesis and felt like she could actually bring awareness to something people usually write off as histrionics. |
