| NC has tryouts for senior girls in February and younger players in May. It makes for uncomfortable situations post tryouts where kids get cut but there’s still league games and showcases left. Many times the kids who get cut get benched or just leave the team early altogether. |

It is crazy. Girls have played only Aug-Feb league wise some even ending in January. 5-6 months of play not including time off for holidays, back to tryouts with showcases and events remaining potentially through the end of June. |
