New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

This isn’t a GA is terrible forum so stop justifying your kids league. It’s silly.
GA is a good league it’s not on the same level with ECNL, who cares? If your kid is getting what they want out of soccer in any league/club that’s all that matters.

Now back to business what’s the latest we think the next girls clubs into ECNL will be announced?

I would assume clubs want this info out before tryouts?

it is a tournament geared towards the d2 and d3 colleges. surf cup, Jeff cup and casl/visit Raleigh are better tournaments.

Ok but the point is the opportunity is there for GA players. Same colleges and coaches are turning out that’ll be seen at ECNL NC. The opportunity exists for players in the GA platform to be seen.

It’s about players and clubs having realistic expectations and targeting right colleges for their players, giving sound advice, and supporting that advice with entering the right showcases for their players.

Top players in GA have the same expectations as the top players in ECNL.
Simple as that.

The rumor was fabricated.

Our GA club is not going to NC because the scouting last year was better at Jeff Cup. That's not to say it was non-existent, but the club decided it wasn't worth the extra trip.

...but I don't see what's wrong with a tournament being good for D2 and D3 prospects. So much of the focus is on Power 4 and D1, but that's not for everyone.

First, you’d need to identify which clubs would be considered “very dominant.”

From there, look at which of those clubs have or haven’t posted their tryout information yet, since most clubs include their league logos in those graphics.

That should help narrow things down and point you toward the most likely possibilities.

Save yourself some time and go back a few pages. We did this already.

there is nothing wrong with it. it has a great purpose and a good time for the girls. its the ga hats that continue to pump their first up instead of facing the reality.

The reality is the same schools are found at both GA and ECNL events. The difference is ECNL is better at creating brand value and FOMO amongst their paying families, which then allows for these paying families to act like their foot soldiers in belittling what league girls are playing in.

For what purpose? This doesn’t affect the GA event at all it’s business as usual. Teams are going to drop out because of a rumor.

Also that wasn’t the question it’s what is the latest point ECNL would accept clubs? That could be from RL as well.

The reason they can creat fomo is because they have a high level product and a track record of success. So it’s easy for they to say you better jump on the boat now before it takes off.

I rarely see GA hats pumping up GA. (I also have never seen a parent wearing a GA hat). What I see is GA families defending it from ECNL families punching down. I don't understand why ECNL families completely lack humility. What drives that?

So, it's narcissism then. I would have guessed some deep seated insecurity, but that makes sense.

No - read this forum. That’s all you see. ECNL is the greatest, GA sucks. My kid is better than every GA player because she has a patch on her jersey.
Congratulations!
