You might be surprised what seems to be obscure from the standpoint of a lawyer practicing the high stakes field of parking garage litigation. Thanks. This gave me a chuckle. |
| I forgot to keep the “high-stakes parking garage litigation” in quotes. You have a nice way with snark. |
| Donnie has the security camera footage from when the search warrant was executed. He isn’t releasing the cottage because he knows damn well that nothing was planted. |

Michael Cohen believes that Trump has way more documents at more of his properties and that his kids have copies as well. Jared and Ivanka, for sure. If Eric did, he’s probably practicing finding different letters and circling them in different colors. Jr would have tried to smoke them.

OR buried with Ivana! why did it take 10 men to carry a casket with cremated urn? |

Can someone explain why you think an 80 y/o idiot that is notoriously lazy and it's well-documented he does not read (including even his distilled morning briefings) -- personally read and plucked (valuable?) top secret docs with presumably single-spaced 500 words on each page? Or do you infer Jared was the gopher who took them for Trump?
That's what I'm hung up on. There is 0% chance his old obese lazy butt read any of this. |
When people would read docs to him he would ask, "can I keep this? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-mara-a-lago-search-warrant-affidavit-major-media-companies-release/ |
He didn’t read them the Russians can. He just sees Top Secret and sees $$$. |
People who've known him for years say he's like a magpie, attracted to shiny things, and that lots of paper is part of those shiny baubles. Paper work is particularly attractive given he's likely dyslexic and has trouble reading, so he wants to "prove" he's a reader. For decades, he's insisted on being accompanied by messy accumulations of paper - that he doesn't read so much as pick through to show some off to guests. This has been documented many times by reporters who have come to his office and have had various things plucked from the piles and waved in front of their faces. Right after he attacked Obama, he showed a reporter various photos of Black celebrities, claiming they were friends of his. He literally plucked them out of a tottering pile of paperwork and documents next to him. There is a method to his madness, or put another way, he has enough innate smarts to surmount any learning disabilities he might have. He's like a little boy with no consideration for the wellbeing and safety of others: there likely is no grand plan to sell secrets to enemy agents, but he can (or maybe has already done) just as much damage by gleefully feeling his power by showing secret documents to guests, some of whom may not have been well-intentioned. And that's why he's so dangerous and has to be stopped. There's no adult rationale behind what he does, he cannot be reasoned with by the usual methods. There is only "Look what I got, I'm so important! Adore me right now!". It's sad that he's lived all his life this way, but he's not about to change now. With cognitive decline, it will only get worse. |

When people start thinking you’re selling state secrets maybe it’s time to STFU and think about your actions.
I don’t buy for a minute that he’s just a toddler brain in a man’s body. He was president of the United States. He knows better. Do not give him a pass. |
I think this is the answer. There is no multilevel chess game going on. He collects things that may be impressive to other people & therefore potentially useful to him. His inability to see or care about anything beyond himself is how these docs will cause damage. |
I agree. I do believe he is a very clever man who tries to hide behind this assumed toddler persona. |
He is impulsive like a toddler, but has the awareness of an adult. And yes, he hides behind childish antics, like his daughter hides behind her baby talk. |

If DOJ is slow rolling filing charges it’s probably because they would like to continue investigating more crimes without revealing sources.
Didn’t even have to google the NYT or Bloomberg to come up that. I’m not sure what our mystery poster is trying to say but it’s par for the course. |
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-08-31/doj-is-likely-to-wait-past-election-to-reveal-any-trump-charges Here's the article. And it has to do with not interfering with elections. |
