The way they're awkwardly lined up makes his story make sense. It looks like she stuck her leg over the bar and tried to gain possession of it while his hands were already on it. It also males sense why he says she's putting her stomach on him and why he is so calmly holding his ground.
She's like that person who hops in your cab while you're opening the door.

A joy ride? You mean ride home. It's not a stolen car. People are allowed to go home and it's not a negative thing. The rarity of these e bikes means that she is likely use to pedaling a bike home.

"Probably the most punishment he's had in his life"
Yeah ok. Tell me you don't know immigrant parents w/o telling me.

Except he admitted he moved the bike back onto the dock with her on it. Are you saying he's lying?

His family is now seeking legal representation, likely to sue Sarah Jane Comrie for defamation. Her attorney has not released the un-redacted receipts which line up with this kid's story. Sarah Jane Comrie was rightly fired from her job. Her GoFundMe needs to be suspended and given back to the donors.

Here is an updated link on all the parties receipts: https://twitter.com/TizzyEnt/status/1661395687215439873?cxt=HHwWgoC9_eaku44uAAAA

Isn’t this just the sister’s account from a couple days ago that everyone has already been talking about?

Her attorney did release the unreacted receipts. Somebody posted them earlier in this thread but I don't have time to dig them out.

The newer videos on Twitter by TizzyEnt demonstrates more accurate videos and the receipts from all parties. Sarah Jane Comrie is a liar!

Does he have new footage or just more grifting from beardo?

This has honestly turned into the dumbest story. Two people arguing over a bike, probably both in the wrong, and here we are almost 200 pages later arguing about it.

There's no new information. We know that the kid docked the bike at 7:19. The argument was at 7:24. There's no evidence whatsoever that it was his or her bike or anyone pushed anyone else to impale (pfft) themselves on a bike.

Yes it is. Yet one camp is still seeking to permanently injure the nurse and making extreme claims about her. And one side is the one that started this all by posting the video. And one side that fanned the social media flames and set the mob loose on her.

She’s a PA.

It’s really about racism in the US. Black vs White.

If this were about a male Hispanic teen and a pregnant Asian woman there would be crickets about this story.

It's about the casual Karenization of a whole group of women for sh!ts and giggles. And it's about Monique and her ilk trying to make bank by getting clicks from the story--we wouldn't even know about this story if Monique et al. hadn't defamed the PA repeatedly and obnoxiously on her large platform. To the extent that either the PA, the guy, or any woman concerned about her inability to ask for help in public is paying the price from this, they can all blame Monique and her chums.

This isn't anything new, it's the sister's video from yesterday. There's been a discussion here for the last 10-20 pages about how these actually prove the PA's story. The receipts also raised new questions.

I copied this from somebody upthread.
- He docked the bike at 7:19 after riding it for several hours. This was to reset the free 45-minute period.
- She took the bike out at 7:24. Their stories differ as to whether the bike was unattended or he was standing next to it with his hands on it.
- Her receipt shows she only rented it for one minute, which is when the guys redocked the bike with her on it.
- He checked the bike out, with her still sitting on it, for 6 minutes from 7:25-7:31. She left and took another bike, presumably not an e-bike.
- He took at trip from 7:59-8:41pm
- Then a third trip from 9:48-10:12pm

New and existing questions:
- Was the bike unattended or was he standing next to it? It's a he said-she said situation.
- Why did he just check it out only 6 minutes after redocking it with her on it? It looks like he redocked it after 6 minutes didn't really need the bike at that moment. He didn't take it out again until 7:59, which is 35 minutes after he redocked it with her on it and 40 minutes after he reached the docking station at 7:19.
- Is it still fOK or him to redock her bike with her on it? Tizzy Ent says "the bike was redocked" which seems like a cop-out. Monique similarly avoids that issue.
- Is it still OK to hoard a scarce Citibike all day, to the point where you deny it to a pregnant woman?
- Who put the video online with all the Karen commentary? Did he and his friends bring this public opprobriation on themselves?
- Monique, Crumb and others are the ones who made this go viral. Monique clearly meant to cause distress for the PA and a defamation suit is in the works. But is the young man's current distress also all Monique's fault?

It's also about using social media to dox and destroy the reputation of somebody, and the economics of making a living doing that, by pumping up your clicks. First it was race grifters Monique et al. trying to destroy the PA with racially charged words ("white women's tears"). The more tweets Monique put out about this, and she put out tons of tweets, the more clicks she got (although she got few likes, but she doesn't care) and she got paid to write a piece fore NewsOne about it. When the PA produced her receipts and lawyers' statements, the PA looked credible. But then the RWNJ racists joined the fray to go after the young men. Monique probably doesn't care--she's opened up her twitter account to comments again and the racist RWNJs are helping her by increasing her clicks again.

It's pretty gross all around.

The fact that we still don’t know who posted the video is starting to make me feel suspicious this whole thing was a set up. I don’t know if it’s the boys doing it, but I suspect one of these grifters came into possession of the video and wanted to make hay, knowing the vagueness of the video and allegations (“weaponizing white tears” is the kind of thing that is nearly impossible to prove or disprove) would make it easy to exploit.

There is simply no excuse for ruining the PA’s life over this, but that’s entirely the goal. This is an insane escalation of what appears to be a dumb squabble over proper etiquette for renting a CitiBike in NY. I agree with the PA on that (my feeling is you can’t squat on a bike you aren’t currently paying for, especially not an e-bike in high demand and especially not during a commuter hour, and also that denying the bike to a pregnant PA is gross) but others will disagree— that’s fine.

But turning this into a race war is deranged.
