Physicians Assistant yelling “HELP ME” while stealing a CitiBike ?

Can someone explain what is happening in the viral video of a woman (in scrubs later ID’s as a PA) on a CitiBike next to a guy who apparently paid for the bike? And yelling and then crying? And can’t make out the dialog except “HELP ME”

What a bizarre post, OP. Link something, anything. What have you already done to research the answer to your own question?

Feels like you’re just trying to promote discussion about something controversial while playing dumb.

We don't all share the same TikTok account, OP. No one has any idea what you're referring to.

I saw this going around on twitter.

This is the video I've seen: https://twitter.com/Imposter_Edits/status/1657581292681064451?s=20

The descriptions I've seen state that he paid for the CitiBike and then she sat down on it and refused to move. I wasn't there, though, so obviously I've got no idea what happened beyond what's in the video.

Citibikes should be free.

I saw this on twitter too yesterday. They were outside a hospital, a black guy (race seems important to the twitter discussion) had rented a citibike via the app on his phone and this random white woman in scrubs comes along and gets on the bike, claiming it's her bike and tries to leave with it.

The guy had already rented the bike, so for this woman to take it would mean she's riding it on his account and according to the terms of citibike he would be liable up to $1,200 if she damaged or never returned it. But regardless he had rented it. The video starts with her saying meekly "help, help" and trying to take off with it. The guy's friend seems to be filming.

A white guy in scrubs, who people speculate is a coworker, shows up and the woman stars fake crying and he just tells the people filming to have the guy give the woman the bike, but he says "no,I already rented it, it's on my account" and then the coworker says something like "why don't you just stop the rental so she can rent it" and the guy and his friends say "no. why can't she just rent ANOTHER BIKE?" (like seriously). And the coworker says to the fake crying lady "just rent another bike" and she suddenly stops crying and leaves.

The entire exchange is beyond bizarre from the white lady in scrubs. Her employer is written clearly on her scrubs and she has her name tag on which at one point she realizes she's being filmed and takes off. WTAF was this woman doing? Just get another bike.

I saw one of the other young men in the video do a story time on the incident on TT. He said that his friend had paid for the bike and was holding the handlebars to mount it when this woman came up and sat on the seat. She refused to get off. Several other (white) people told HIM to let her have it and rent another. He refused because he had already paid and the bike was active on his account.

I am not sure if there were other bikes available nearby or not. Someone asked in the comments but he hadn't addressed it yet. I'm assuming there were not or else why would this woman refuse to get up? I bet it was the end of her shift and she wanted to bike home rather than walk.

I expect it to be announced today that she has been fired from her job. Her name and her husband's name are all over TT, Twitter, and IG. She deleted all her social media accounts but her husband still has all his.

Even if he would have canceled it, he would still incur a fee.

Racism, pure and simple.

Does someone have his receipt that he paid the bike?

Wow. This woman is crazy wtf was her problem? She is crying wolf and fake tears. I’m glad this is on video. Otherwise people would just be saying “believe her”.

The uploaded video is compressed so you can’t see the information but at the 13 second mark I’m sure those guys have her name and all of her employer info. I’m sure their video is crystal clear.
