He is just so painfully dull. I don't think there's many people with the time and patience to go to a trump rally. |
Yep. And it'll be in the news cycle all the way through election day. This could be the real October surprise. I've never felt this good about Harris's chances until now. |
Because it’s boring. The old grievance is boring. I have half a mind that that’s what they were trying with the MSG event, to try and liven up a dead performance, try to up the edge factor. |
This is quite the turn of events. I did not have that MSG rally in my Bingo card as being SO offensive.
I hope Harris doesn't crap the bed today. |
I think people are outwardly"repulsed" by msg but will still vote for him bc they are closeted sexists and rascists. Several people on this forum have aitted to voting for him but outwardly saying they are voting for Harris. |
The right wing will of course spin that she has, if the media is feeling extra salty that it looks like the election is moving toward Harris they’ll “and here’s how that’s bad for Biden/thanks, Obama” it. But in reality she’ll have amazing speakers with important messages going before her and then she’ll make a case that manages to be both positive and an appropriate warning about how bad a maga term would be. |
That’s what they claim, but I think Republicans aren’t nearly as clever as they think they are. There are, however, going to be a lot of secret Harris voters this time. Fed up Republicans, veterans for whom January 6th was a step too far, moderates who cared for their own parent with dementia, conservative women who won’t go back… |
Even NPR was saying this morning that he's seemed tired and unfocused at his rallies lately. And you know that pained them to say. |
MSG event is not going to alter the race in a meaningful way. |
MAGA is the one spiking the football at the one-yard line like they already won. Is that what you’re doing? |
Who wants to listen to a yeah crazy always old man rant and rave about nonsense for 3 hours or stand up on stage and dance to crappy playlists? |
Tell it to the energized Latino and Muslim voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida. |
If Harris wins, and I hope she does, it will be interesting to note that ultimately it was Trump himself who did it. Like I think Harris has run a good campaign and I know that a lot of people have worked tirelessly for years to keep Trump from winning another election. But it's him and his campaign who are making choices that make his win so much less likely right now. I think it's notable because I am hoping this fact will most people on the right acknowledge that he lost. Not Trump himself or die hard MAGAs but like people at Fox News (who have shown a smidge of willingness to criticize or at least correct him recently) and Congressionall Republicans who aren't full blown MAGA and Republican officials in swing states (whose positions will be pretty critical to avoiding another constitutional crisis if Trump tries to force them to send alternate electors or invalidate vote totals). The more unforced errors he makes and the more half full rallys and perhaps a handful of late breaking polls swinging away from him, the better in terms of the country actually accepting his loss and moving forward. If he looks like a loser and then loses, I am hoping that enough Trump voters will be able to admit he lost that we can get back to some kind of normal. |
The Rally in NYC was an epic disaster. I just do not know how Trump will out do this but he will. |
