Kavanaugh's calendar shows when the football camp was and also refers to a gathering on July 1, where Judge was present.

July 1: “Go to Timmy’s for Skis w/ Judge, Tom, PJ, Bernie, Squi.” = likely the night in question with Dr. Ford

Safeway Encounter: Just before the football camp, which would have likely been between August 1 and August 21. The 6-8 weeks after the encounter that Dr. Ford referenced in her testimony would have fallen right around that window of time.

Football Camp: Starts August 22

From same article, quoting Judge's book:

It was the summer before senior year, and by now, even though I wasn’t drinking every day, I was completely hooked. Going a week without getting drunk was unthinkable. I was spending between four and seven nights with the gang, either at a party or at O’Rourke’s.

But Brett said he wasn't drinking very often that summer....

He’s the victim!

Clarence Thomas playbook still works....yeah #metoo but this is a GOP senate (was Dem in 91)

And I feel just like I did after the Anita Hill hearing. And my teenage DD is crying - she doesn't understand how they can put this man on the SC.

If your teenage daughter is crying it’s because of how the situation has been spun to her. My teenage daughter watched and she didn’t shed a tear.

Neither did mine.

She’s a sociopath that’s why. And she already knew what he outcome

Right! The vast left wing conspiracy....which didn’t get her into the WH. You conservative are such a whirlwind of hypocrisy. Breathe taking!

Yes but she didn’t create a career that would lead her to the Supreme Court. Her career was based on marrying a philanderer and losing the presidential nomination to a half term senator.

I GOT INTO YALE

Because they are characterizing him as a nonstop fall down drunk, blackout, lush. It is hard as hell to get into Yale. His point is that that it would be nearly impossible to get into Yale if you weren't a hard worker and goal oriented.

Weekend warriors, they get into Yale and go on to big careers. Brett is the liar who painted himself as a virginal choir boy. Turns out he's a dishonest, cowardly, sniveling creep.

Flake could uniformly demand the FBI investigation.

Look, if the FBI clears Kavanaugh of this, then fine, but you can't have this kind of smoke and rush to judgement.

Obviously he is both a drinker and a hard worker. All of downtown DC will tell you they aren’t mutually exclusive.

Point is he was a drinker and the accusers all report a connection between alcohol and his boorish behavior.

It's not the sex or the drinker per se; it's the lies.

Lindsay Graham's performance today was shocking, he seems angry but also ... terrified. I'm a thinking that the Russians got him by the balls, he needs to get Kavanagh on the bench because R's know that Kavanagh favors the power of the executive. He is basically Trump's protection should charges of his impeachment reach the Supreme Court.

Work hard, play hard. Pretty much all of DC. Binge drinking once a quarter doesn’t prevent you from getting into Yale.

Also laughable his defense about the impossibility he mistreated any woman because he hires female clerks. The classic, I have a black friend, therefore I’m not racist.

Sadly, this elitist liar will get rammed through. This was just a show for Republicans to attempt to keep their Republic female base in the midterms.

Sorry, that page doesn't exist.

She deleted it. That was his aid showing him watching the testimony.

Yet another lie. He is not credible. Pass.

Come on now. It's likely that his aide thought he was watching the testimony while he was working on the statement behind closed doors and tweeted that out. He may have been watching it on and off while writing, but didn't want to say yes if Harris was going to ask him something specific and then he wouldn't know the answer.

This is silly to claim this is a lie. He didn't tweet out that he was watching it.

I don't gt why people knee-jerk into defense mode. That was his aid. Her words - he was watching the testimony. It is pretty cut and dried. Why go and make excuses. It is what it is, and when asked about it, he lied. He told several small lies today: devil's triagle, boofing I mean really, tell the goddamned truth if you want to be on the Supreme Court.

That would be what colloquially call "a lie." You know, not telling the truth, the whole truth.
