Trump’s Dementia

And it's not like they haven't griped about Trump all these years. They've hated him for years. In the first term, the GOP congress was already complaining about him behind closed doors.

I blame the rightwing media ecosystem, owned in part by Murdoch. That man has wrought destruction on the USA. The Trump cult has taken a life of its own, and elected representatives are afraid to organize against the President because they fear what the rightwing pundits will tell the base. Meanwhile, as was seen during the last Trump term, these same media pundits think very poorly of Trump, but go along because... they think he's untouchable???

Everyone seems to be waiting for someone else to not be a coward.

Donald Trump has claimed the US has “total control” of the strait of Hormuz, as he berated Iran for “not knowing” who its leader is.
Someone needs to take his phone or block him from WiFi. He’s delusional. This is so embarrassing.

I can't send a link, but I've said it before...you guys HAVE to watch Daniella Mestyanek Young. Also known as The Knitting Cult Lady. Watch her videos about trump and you will understand all of it. Including the answer to this question above.

But even much of the base is having doubts. And continued high gas prices will break the Trump adoration quickly. That’s getting owned instead of owning the libs. The feckless GOP is inexplicable.

PP you replied to. Not quickly enough, unfortunately. Poll after poll show that the base is highly loyal. What they are showing is that the base is shrinking, however. I'd like to see more data on how many conservatives identify themselves as Trump supporters since the November 2024 elections.

For Trump's hold on the base to really crack, Fox news et al have to show all those clips of him acting completely demented, which they haven't shown. But they won't, because they think their base still loves Trump. And the base has doubts, but those doubts are assuaged by Fox and Newsmax. If both get into lockstep against Trump, then that's the end of him politically.

Sadly, I think he has a greater chance of dying of natural causes before that ever comes to pass. I would rather he die in ignominy, despised by everyone, than have Fox singing his eulogy and all the base rallying like they did with Charlie Kirk. If it's the latter, the GOP politicians will swallow their hatred of Trump and insist that he was a wonderful President. He's going to be lionized. He needs to die after having a public dementia crash-out, while gas prices are super high and there are shortages everywhere.

Trump is claiming:

The US has been at war with Iran for 47 years
This current war with Iran isn’t a war
That Trump should get credit that the war hasn’t been going on as long as the Vietnam War.

make it make sense.

Bigger question is: is Fox blanketing its own channel with this poll result????

We're at war, gas prices are through the roof...and he's still obsessed with crowd size. Truly amazing.

MAGA isn’t different in loose ideology (can pivot back and forth depending on who is leading whether that’s a tv or podcast personality, what have you).

However!! They are ready to drop him. Anyone else moves in that they can follow, it’s on.

Why do I feel like RFK, Jr wouldn’t have understood this math even before he was elderly, had suffered a brain worm, had given himself mercury poisoning, and had experienced drug addiction? I love that he’s informed that his math is wrong and rather than check with anyone who is math savvy, he offers this completely inaccurate explanation that lays bare the fact that he doesn’t understand the math AT ALL. But there will be no price to pay because everyone who didn’t already think he was a nincompoop also doesn’t understand basic information and/or doesn’t care that RFK, Jr doesn’t.

There is no bottom to the stupidity in maga. Trump is deteriorating right before our eyes, in public, where everyone can see, and what??? Nothing is being done about this. He must be removed from office. He is not able to make decisions. He is not able to do much of anything except complain and talk about pens, curtains and his latest "renovation." Give him the hook!
