Really old people like young children have difficulty regulating their body temperature. Especially so when they develop dementia. Spend anytime in a memory care facility and you’ll notice it’s hot and stuffy but all of the residents are wearing heavy clothing, thick socks and sweaters or jackets of some type. He’s probably cold. |
We could blow his mind by letting him know that there is even a store, called a grocery store, where you can buy these things. |
It's real and it's a recurring thing with him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NKByZe7kZg |

Thank you, that was hilarious |
So funny. So sad that it's real though. |
If anyone here has parents or grandparents Trump's and Biden's ages, what do their days look like?
My dad is Trump's age (79). Here's his day in a nutshell: 1. wakes at 5 AM 2. takes his dog out on a walk around his backyard, feeds the dog, and makes breakfast for himself. 3. eats and watches the news. usually naps between 8-10 am. 4. eats lunch at 11:30, takes his dog on a long walk, and then naps until 1:30 5. heads to the local senior center for an activity of some sort from 2-3:30 pm 6. eats dinner somewhere between 4-4:30 pm. watches tv and dozes until his bedtime at 7 pm. 7. sleeps from 7-midnight/1 am. that's his core, deep sleep. he usually wakes at midnight/1 for a snack and then dozes in and out until he wakes for good at 5 am. Toss in a few days each month of golf with friends and doctor's appointments and that's his life. My dad was a big executive before retirement but there's no way in hell I'd vote for him to be President at his age. |
Why was he wearing a long wool overcoat on a 65 degree day? That is another sign that things are not right mentally. |
