Donald Trump was three hours late to his Friday night rally in Traverse City, Michigan. We still watched it. Here’s what you missed:
Trump apologized for being tardy to his event … by telling the crowd in this critical battleground state that he had prioritized other means of reaching voters (recording a three-hour interview with podcaster Joe Rogan). He claimed his team offered to cancel the Michigan rally, but he refused. “I figured you wouldn’t mind too much,” he said. He demanded the dwindling number of attendees vote for him because he was protecting auto-industry jobs. |
And they say Democrats take votes for granted. ![]() |
They don’t have 81 lawsuits though. |
50 states, plus the six territories who get to vote. DC, USVI, PR, NMI, Guam, and American Samoa (AS). |
Exactly what?! Don't you ever get tired of these ignorant people saying stupid incomprehensible things that you have to pick over to find some meaning in? I sure do! |
the thing is, Trump and his staff knew they were doing the Rogan interview in Texas. They knew what time the interview was scheduled for, and they knew what time the Traverse City rally was scheduled for. Did the Trump team push the start time for Traverse City back? No. Was there any communication prior to the video message that Trump would be late? No. Blind fealty and obedience. That is what Trump demands of his adherents. And the rubes give it to him. Can you imagine any of these people going to a concert and sitting there for hours after being told the main act was "running late" Hell no. Just rude, but why would anyone expect more. |
I do. And I apologize. I quoted the wrong post. My intent was saying exactly to the poster that said there were not 81 lawsuits, and definitely not 81 states. You can't edit your responses on DCUM. |
