Crash Landing - Netflix Korean subtitles

Agree with PPs that Vincenzo is really good, but you have to stick with it past the first few episodes. A lot of people especially disliked the histrionics of the female lead in the beginning but grew to really love her as her character developed and settled down. Likewise, the ensemble cast-- a lot of wacky quirkiness develops into a quite endearing and hilarious set of characters.

Yes, that's him.

What did you think?

I loved it. Only wish there was another season.

Had to track down Lee Min Ho in another seriesI recommend, “The Legend of the Blue Sea.”

Any other recs for stuff by Ji Chang Wook? I have watched Healer now as well which was recommended by someone here after I liked his acting in Lovestruck in the City.

The K2 is entertaining as long as you don’t expect it to as good as Healer. The female antagonist is a great character, and he has amazing chemistry with her.

Suspicious Partner is pretty entertaining. Healer is by far his best and not really a close second. K2 is decent though people are mixed on it. Agree with pp He is a good actor but known to not always pick the best projects.

I was one of the pp who gave the recommendation on Healer. If you like him, you may like Seo In-Guk - in Doom at your Service.

Do you think Ji Chang Wook had more plastic surgery between Healer and Love Struck? Because he’s even MORE handsome in Love Struck.

I’m in the middle of watching Mr. Sunshine and it’s absolutely breathtaking. Up there with Crash Landing. This must have cost a fortune to make.

No. I think it's just age and hairstyle. He lost a little of the fat in his face, as is normal from 20's to 30's. He also had bangs in Healer, which makes the face appear wider.

In any case, he's beyond gorgeous. Thank God he's a terrific actor, or I'd feel too stupid fan-girling over him at my age!

He tested positive for Covid-19 last week. Hope he is making a good recovery.

It is visually stunning, for sure. The scene in one of the early episodes of the chase across the rooftops/lighting of the street lamps is one of the most beautiful I've ever scene on screen.

This is one of the things I love about Korean dramas. They are so, so beautiful. Stunning panoramas, beautifully framed shots, intense color saturation. Just a feast for the eyes.

In search of a Korean show even close to CL, I've been watching Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce). It's so uneven. Momentarily it has an interesting story line or good dialogue, but mostly unwatchable. Still, I continued for those bits of good. A recent episode was a full hour of the show's strongest coupe as he alternately refused to grant a divorce and begged for forgiveness from an affair. She refused and demanded a divorce. It was the best hour of the entire series. Certainly a slow burn, but hits many of the true emotions I'd image a (previously) loving couple would go through.

I’ve watched quite a few kdramas after. Ring mesmerized by Crash Landing and I think Mr. Sunshine is up there. It’s historical. Takes place in the early 1900s.
