Huh? |

of course he is being labeled mentally ill- he is white, male and from an affluent area.
This is a terrible tragedy and of course, he will be treated differently because of his white privilege. I hope his parents get charged for the gun. |
Which side? |
Beyond the family, friends, and colleagues, I am somewhat worried about the wife's company that provided services for the elderly. She provided a very valuable service, and her older clients will now have to work out many new arrangements if one of her employees can't carry on the work of her company. |

As provocative as all of this neo nazi stuff is, the guy shot his girlfriend's parents because they had forbidden her to see him anymore.
|
I wonder if he came to the house because they had planned a murder suicide. The BF would kill her and them himself. This is an ultra dramatic Romeo and Juliet scenario that might appeal to two trouble teenagers. The BF may have shot the parents only because they came to the room to investigate the noise. Either way it is a tragedy, but I wonder if they had a different intent. |
My guess is the people already working with families will simply become independent contractors with the families they already work with and will actually make more. One of her employees could simply decide to start their own company and use the same people or find new people. |
I think that he went there to convince her to run off with him. He brought the gun along in case she refused to go with him (maybe he would force her to come with him at gunpoint ?). And then the parents confronted him and he panicked and shot them. The kid had been going off the rails for awhile and probably wasn't thinking things through very well. |
People on DCUM think anyone to the right of Bernie must be "mentally ill" or they wouldn't have such crazy political views! |
Agreed. I'm white. There is always this lone wolf mentally ill thing said about white male killers. Sounds in fact like the boy and the daughter clearly had mental health issues that got them to this point. Whole thing is scary |
I believe family members reported to the news he was mentally ill. This family seems to have issues with Jews in particular if the supposed accounts linked to online are accurate. When the alleged mom had her FB up she had a photo of a kid dressed for Halloween as a concentration camp vicitim and she and her friends thought it was adorable. The sister's alleged twitter has a photo of a a Jewish star, possibly the israel flag with an "x" and what i think is the Jordanian flag with a green check. Her friend tweeted it to her and said "this will always remind me of you." Jordan and Israel are allies technically. I identify as Jewish and don't agree with a lot of Israeli politics so perhaps it was as simple as that. It just seems like they have some black friends on social medias and arab friends, but Jews are a problem for them. Then there are the alleged social media sites of the murderer and he is just plain deranged when it comes to Jews. I would curious to know what experiences led then to have such negative feelings toward Jews. |
OK I am thinking now it is a "Palestine" flag so she is just expressing she is pro-Palestine. I am pro-2 state solution myself, but if she is pro-palestine only she is entitled to her opinion. Perhaps the friend who tweeted her is from that part of the world and had some bad experiences. I'll give her a pass on that one. Carry on. |
He's being labeled mentally ill because he's spent time in a mental health facility. |
I would have first gotten an alarm system for my own home, such as SimpliSafe (because it can be set up fast, immediately, and easily) and hidden the base station and keypad. You can't depend on someone else to fix your problems. |
Good luck with this. It's the truth, but you won't get through to a lot of the folk on this board. The Mom also called his school. To him, these people were in the process of destroying the only parts of his life that brought him happiness. At 17, the neo-nazi stuff was simply a cry for help. He was playing neo-nazi because it was provocative, but not an actual neo-nazi. |
