To the PP, I hope your children date strippers. And men who go to stripper clubs are low life too.

Well, if my children dated someone like OP, I'd be OK with that. Because most people judge folks on character, not what they do for a living.

Word. I'd rather my son date a stripper than someone who works for big oil and facilitates fracking, just to give one example.

hahahahahahaha. go ahead. This is hilarious. OP's willingness to strip instead of find any other job in the quest for easy money is a clear judge of her character.

I hate to break it to you, choosing to be a stripper is a sign of your character.

what's next, empowered hookers? drug addicts? give me a break.

No, a sign of OP's character is the way she has answered the questions posed in this thread, explaining her choices, being open and honest, and taking the time to educate (well, not you, but you know what I mean) people who were genuinely interested in what she does for a living. A sign of your character, on the other hand, is the blatant misogyny exhibited in your replies. So I'd rather that any of my children date someone like OP over someone like you all day long.

People definitely judge people who strip off their clothes, grind their genitalia on strangers, and use emotional sell tactics to keep their clients coming back and buying drinks and spending money on them. Sounds like an upright woman to me to be your children's spouse!

I'm sure stripper will be at ease in many social situations. If so, I hope stripper can tell that to her children. I'm sure her children will be proud of her.

I don't really need OP to be open and honest with me. I respect someone who works hard at a retail job or even hauling garbage more than a stripper. I appreciate hard work and ethic vs choosing to be a stripper. And push comes down to shove your children would be lucky to date someone like me. So easy to protest to the contrary in an anonymous forum. I will like to see what happens when your children brings back a stripper some day. I'm sure you'll be over the moon with joy because stripper is so open and honest with you.

If OP needed the money desperately, she could have worked at Walmart, Starbucks, become a cleaning lady, become an uber driver, become a janitor, work in retail. She chose to be a stripper.

Interesting - for someone so appalled at strippers, you seem overly invested in clicking on and responding to posts in a thread about a stripper. Hmmmmm.

Have a little bit of down time and am dwadling on this forum. Yes appalled at what low levels we have sunk to we are celebrating stripperdom and telling bewildered mothers they are controlling and weird when their sons date strippers. Low class and lack of standards.
