I prefer the war idea; in the end, war is a natural cycle of life and it controls population. Really. Let's not go off the deep end, here. What is your solution? Let her children starve? Live in cardboard boxes? Deport them? Give them to families who can support them? Have the government make mandatory sterilization laws? Govern who can and cannot have children? |

| i diasgree. we need tobe vigilant. These people, meanin non citizens, are an enormous burden on the border states and the rest of the country sees nothing wrong with it. This case a a sample of a much broader problem of peoplewho love all the goods from the good ole USA. If you visit some of the South American countries, you will find that a one bedroom apartment and a welfare check is heaven. They need to be cut off and sent to their home countries and made to stand up as people and get what is rightfully theirs. not just protesting our lawmakers for trying to curb their budget draining behavior. I live in Los Angeles and I am friends with many people who have come from other countries but they have gone through the process of being naturalized. Others are simply free loaders |

| As a Historian.let me say this. When California was sold to the U.S. ,Amerigo told his people to populate the lands of America, meaning take advantage. I have mixed feelings about this issue. Is it an immigration problem or is this person simply missing something vital in her thinking ? She may simply be proven to be unfit by the irresponsible choice of adding 7 children + 1 unplanned to an already fatherless lot.I'm sur there are multitudes of people ready to help and assist her as much. |

These children, born in CA, are U.S. citizens. I believe that the mother is a citizen too. Not that I agree with your anti-immigrant rant, but you might want to apply it to someone else. Couple of other thoughts: --"god" did not will these kids into being; a baby addict willed them into being, and an unscrupulous doctor abetted --no parent in their right mind would argue, with a straight face, that one woman can simultaneously earn a salary to support 14 children and herself, and also take care of all of these children --usually in such large families, the eldest children are old enough to help with baby care. This family's age range is exceptionally compact --it's possible to be wildly irrational and mentally ill/OCD without being clinically "insane," ie psychotic --it's possible to believe that this is a terrible situation, that this woman is off her rocker, and that these children would be better off with someone else without being some kind of witch who would regulate parenthood and steal this woman's babies --if you find her disgusting, don't feed the beast by visiting her website or watching her television show; she only stays a celebrity as long as there's a market for what she's selling (freakshow) |

Okay y'all, obviously we are now not only feeding the fascist crazies who come out of the woodwork every once in a while here at DCUM but this thread is obviously coming up when Nadya is googled. Can all of the DCUM's please leave this to the assholes from the rest of the country who are coming here and posting their hate?
If you don't like what she did, that's fine. But please don't pollute this forum with your hatred anymore. This thread is the most depressing thing ever and is far beneath the standards of even DCUM. We might fight and get nasty, but since when do we talk about children being "rats" hooked up to life saving machines? Who on this forum would ever say, without a hint of irony or sarcasm, that war is a good thing and a means of "natural" population control? Haters, go somewhere else or find your own thread. |

| wow some anger out there. I think what she did was bizarre and hopefully the medical profession will police itself in the future. But..the kids are here and this lady needs to be helped because they need to have a mom who is not so stressed by all the anger out there that she does something stupid. As for calling the kids retarded--what is the point in that. Many people have kids who have some sort of disability who live wonderful lives and no one even knows if these kids have disabilities at this point. |

| According to the report, she claim disability because she has been injured in a riot inside the mental hospital. Did it even crosses in somebody mind that she might be a patient that was mistakenly release after that riot. Because it don't make sense to have 8 more children after having 6 given the fact that she is on welfare unless she is manipulating the system. And now...she want to finish her master degree on counseling given the fact that she's the one that needed some counseling. What a joke! By the way, I'm retiring and all of you guys can pay for my retirement and also for her manipulation of the system. |
