She's going to be claiming 15 personal exemptions (6 kids, + 8 newborns, + herself). That's what? About $45,000 right off her taxable income, before deductions? Can't say that's a profitable decision but whatever....

So it is 6 kids + 8, and she is probably not yet done. Lets get ready to congratulate her the next time she gets pregnant.

Either way, those of you who judge do not know how painful infertility can be.

I do not care how much it will cost the tax payer. The kids will pay the taxes back when they go to work. Then they will be the ones who with their tax money support all the elderly child haters on this forum.

Just think. You in a frail care home in diapers and one of these kids that you hate is the one who changes your diaper for you!!!!

I think she is a selfish idiot and I did IVF to conceive both my kids.

Plus she is not infertile. She has previous kids aged 7,6,5,3,2,2. Having kids that close together wouldn't even give you the chance to try naturally before resorting to fertility treatment. She either conceived them all naturally or went straight to drugs each time (bizare).

She is INCREDIBLY selfish because there is no way, no how that a single woman could begin to meet the emotional needs of 14 children. My heart breaks for these kids.

I think it's possible to make large families work, but usually the older ones have to help care for the younger ones. I don't see how that's going to happen when her oldest is 7. What were her doctors thinking? Not to mention her!

This really is a strange story - why would someone with 6 young children receive fertility treaments? And she's young - reports say she's 33 yrs old. I don't get it.
