It read more like someone who lost the battle and was trying to bait in Sidwell to be honest... |
| some of us have logic, some of us need fake credentials… brb printing mine 😂 |
| This is basically a school for the kids who could not get into Sidwell and don’t want to commute for other privates. They also feel like they are too good for the excellent publics in the area. Potomac Parents need to remember, their kids were rejected from other schools and they were too lazy to drive further for something better. Have fun on the bus kids. |
Sounds a lot like most parents in most private schools. |
Please name some of these excellent public schools that come close to any of the selective private schools in the area. |
Insecure Sidwell parent. Again. |

TJ... how was that even a question? The Potomac School's competition is TJ and they don't like that it is a public school they try and get their name in with DC's Big 3 so much that it just annoys everyone... (I'm not even a Big 3 parent and I'm exhausted by them trying). |
More like Potomac baiting attempt again... |
TJ, Langley, Meridian, RM, Whitman, BCC, Poolesville… …all are public schools I’d send my kid to over Potomac. Especially RM and TJ. |
I'm a NP and have kids in 2 area private schools, and I do have to agree that the Potomac parents somehow hit different. We were talking about this at a recent sporting event at one of my kids' school. I can't even put a finger on it. It's just immediately apparent what school the Potomac parents are with when they show up, even if they aren't wearing any Potomac gear. |
You people are all so full of sh*t. Get a life. Seriously. |
Who knew Potomac parents so strongly believed "All PR is good PR"?! 20 hrs down the feed and back to the top! |
| I think Potomac parents are cool. The Sidwell parents are the ones. |
... you must have never met either in real life... |
The gag is, Sidwell parents barely come to this forum because they have nothing to prove to internet strangers. Potomac parents chime in often to talk about their school, which is a sign of unconfidence |
