Here is Zeke Emmanuel. He is also an oncologist, so he knows what he is talking about.
So, he is saying he has had this cancer for years - probably at least at the start of his presidency. So, either the doctors totally missed this, or Biden, et al, have kept this a secret from the public.

Irresponsible and unprofessional. He has not treated Biden.

Good Lord, woman. He is an oncologist. He understands the progression of the disease. Other oncologists have gone on record saying the same thing.

You don't go from cancer-free to late-stage, aggressive prostate cancer in a few months.

Nope, just basic professional responsibility and ethics. They have to say they are speculating because they haven’t treated him. Fundamental.

I realize MAGA isn’t at all familiar with professionalism and ethics, so I’m
not surprised that they’re jumping on this opportunity. But shame on this doctor and the news org for being so desperate for attention that they’re acting like a gossip rag. They know better.

Ok then, you can explain how a patient goes from “no mention of prostate cancer” to “Stage IV metastatic prostate cancer” in 12 months.

It’s a fair question. Because that’s not how prostrate cancer works.

Someone has been lying for years about this. Years.

So…. Who?

Again, they don’t require the test after 70. Just like women don’t get yearly Pap smear after 65.

“Require” a test after 70? Sweetheart he’s not on Cigna or Blue Cross like the rest of us.

But if he never reported any symptoms, his doctors probably just stopped testing after a certain time. I do think he was probably having symptoms as president, but as a lot of people do - he downplayed them or wrote them off as normal aging until it was too late. If he reported his symptoms I’m sure he would have been thoroughly tested.

Given his medical history and the fact that he was president, NOT testing is medical malpractice.

He had an enlarged prostate in 2019, which is reason enough to screen annually.

https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/bidens-prostate-cancer-diagnosis-unusual-not-unheard-doctors-say-rcna207640#

It’s unclear whether Biden has been screened for prostate cancer in recent years. His annual physical exam in February 2024 did not indicate that a screening had taken place, though it would not have been expected for his age. According to his physical exam from 2019, he had an enlarged prostate, but had not been diagnosed with prostate cancer by that point.

Dr. David Shusterman, a New York-based urologist, said Biden’s advanced diagnosis would be considered unusual for someone who was screened regularly.

“It’s rare to present with bone [metastasis] … in someone who’s checking with their urologist once a year,” he said. “I’ve been doing this 25 years and I’ve never had a patient like that.”

Metastatic and in the bones. That doesn't happen quickly.

You know nothing. I have/had a dear friend who had regular mammograms and breast cancer never detected. She was diagnosed for the first time with stage four breast cancer that had moved to her back and bones. She fought bravely for a year and then was led to rest. That was ten years ago. Last year, another friend was officially diagnosed with tumors on the brain. For several months some of us suspected something was wrong before she finally went to the doctor. She did not survive the surgery, so you are wrong PP.

OMG please tell me you are not comparing breast cancer to prostate cancer. You cannot be this stupid.

Oh wait. This is DCUM. Where everyone is a genuis (in their own mind), no matter the topic...

He almost def, without a doubt, had signs of cancer in office. You can deduce this logically based on his stature as POTUS, unstable health/age combo would have combined put him at greater risk for health issues, and the current status of how progressed the cancer is. Anyone who doesn't think he somewhat was in denial or didn't want to highlight/allow for the discovery is either in denial, lying or an idiot.

I'm not saying he did anything wrong. Just suggesting that if you look at A+ B in a manner of speaking, C is the logical result. He would have most def been tested and likely caught earlier but people would have freaked and no way he could have run 2nd campaign. I don't know it's his motivation however / it could well be he didn't want to face reality or even he was so busy and focused he didn't want to time it to impact his work. In any case? I believe he has known and is at peace on some level.

He's lived quite a full life and done a lot he's wanted to do which is all anyone can ask for from life. If it were me I wouldn't want to try to squeeze treatment - I would want enjoy the time left and be grateful for the many friends and family offering joy and comfort to me.

I hope he finds peace. I think he was a misguided person who had too much ego and made a lot of mistakes politically throughout his career incl running a second time. But u also think as a man, as a father and husband and as a human being, he did the best he could and tried to do what he thought was right. Life is messy. Nobody is perfect and he prob doesn't feel the peace as he wanted to feel but I hope he will have grace. I think he does deserve it after everything he's given.

One thing for sure. None of us know the truth about this. Somebody is lying or incompetent. Or both.

One thing for sure, the staff lied repeatedly about a lot of things.
The Hur report has revealed that.
This new information just adds insult to injury.

Your snark is identifiable now. You either troll like this for fun or you wonder why people in real life avoid you. You are not deserving of your arrogance. There were 100 other, more helpful and mature ways you could have replied to PP.

But since I now recognize you, I know you need to see this.

This is already the weirdest reaction to a cancer diagnosis. Seems like there’s momentum to snub him in death should it comes to that.

All former presidents are entitled to a state funeral. Trump has no veto power in this
Biden,'s family, however, can request that he not attend. Or ,if attending. The he may not give an eulogy

Breast and brain cancers progress very differently than even aggressive prostate cancers.

From someone who has absolutely no idea how any of this works. Bless your heart, you’re trying so hard.

Are the same people who expect us to believe that metastatic prostate cancer with bone mets appeared overnight the same people who told us Biden was fine at the debate and just had a bad night?

Yes. And if you don’t you are deplorable. It’s kind of a binary thing.

Yes. And the fact that he rarely (never?) held press conferences, fell multiple times when walking up airplane stairs, and had a tendency to wander off when meeting foreign leaders was just "Joe being Joe."

And 7% of all cases of prostate cancer are at this stage when it is FIRST found.

It happens.

Because it’s irresponsible for any doctor to pretend to understand a patient’s condition when they haven’t examined them or seen their medical records.

When they weigh in as a pundit, they have to explicitly say this.

I heard him on The Lead today. He did say that. He also said that although the cancer was likely growing for years, it may not have been detectable if it was “only” a few hundred thousand cells. He said we can’t see it until it is 10 million of cells. I thought his discussion was nuanced in that he didn’t say there was a cover up. He just indicated it was growing but likely no one knew.

I am not a Biden apologist and think his family and staff were completely wrong to shield him from polling showing he should not run again. I also think Trump is damaging the country. Both things can be true.

Remember when Joe Biden promised his brain dead followers he was going to CURE cancer if you voted for him??

You people installed this imbecile into the White House just to maintain your power.

America will NEVER forget or forgive what you did to this country. You tried your best to destroy us.

Well, we understand how science works.

It won’t help that Trump cut cancer research.

Trump said he would stop the Ukraine war in Day One. Still waiting.

Jesus. You are acting like this is a rare and not well understood cancer.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men over 80 years old. They know how it behaves and can speak intelligently on how many years it would take mets. Which is YEARS not months.

Having it and knowing you have it are two different things.
