President Joe Biden diagnosed with prostate cancer

Look - Trump is a terrible human who is taking delight in making people suffer so he and his family can personally profit while leading our country into more debt and a recession.

But that doesn’t let the Dems off the hook in covering / sticking up for Biden who was clearly not up for a second term (and who promised when running for his first term that he was a bridge candidate).

Now, I’m old enough to remember how he handled Anita Hill and so never was a fan. We (dems) could have done better. But we are where we are and we simply must do better or we don’t stand a chance in 2028.

Dems can be better humans, let people love who they love, have compassion for those that suffer, acknowledge that we have real problems to solve, admit that some Dem solutions are not working as intended and develop new policy solutions that try again.

Our country has a lot of problems. It’s ok to admit that. Instead of defending failed policies and presidents, let’s focus on fixes with compassions and heart. Do we really want to yield to Republican solutions?

I am appalled by the indecency of practically everyone, even democrats, in response to this announcement. Maybe he has known about this for a while. But pause, and ask yourself this. What if he didn’t? What if this man and his family have had less than a week to process this grave diagnosis and also have to deal with this scrutiny? Cancer is unpredictable. I knew someone who went to urgent care with stomach pain and was dead from pancreatic cancer 36 hours later. Yes, I know this is more common for pancreatic than prostate. But there ARE forms of very aggressive prostate cancer, and this scenario is not impossible. I could see Biden not getting psa checked because he was only accepting the medical screenings that the general public is privy to. I could see him being advised not to get psa checked due to the fact that it is so common for men his age but also unlikely to progress to the point of being the thing they die from. The public would freak out, saying this makes him unfit. And yes, I know that Trump supposedly revealed his psa levels. But Trump’s entire medical report was obviously completely fake, so who really knows.

Anyway, I’m rambling now. But my point is that we need to give him the benefit of the doubt right now.

How exactly was Biden "partially responsible" for the massacre in Israel? He certainly gets plenty of blame for Israel's war in Gaza, but I don't think it's the U.S. president's job to secure the Gaza border fence.

Biden actually did more to enable Netanyahu than Trump has. Trump very publicly snubbed him just now! That's not to say he's been any less pro-Israel than Biden -- and he certainly doesn't seem to care about Palestinians in any way -- but you can't claim Trump enables Netanyahu and Biden didn't.
