Do you like Taylor Swift?

Why was Taylor Swift booed at the Super Bowl? I don't get it.

She stupidly disappointed much of her fan base by declaring her politics and implying false things about Trump. Nothing new here, but she is now facing the consequences for many of her stupid antics. Next comes her choice of a boyfriend whose attire last night was an embarrassing spectacle.

Because fans are sick of her being the center of attention in the NFL. Also a lot of Eagles fans hate her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The people at the Super Bowl were not "Taylor Swift's fan base." That crowd was mostly middle aged and older men who have enough money or connections to get tickets to the Super Bowl.

They hate Taylor Swift because she's richer than they are, more powerful than they are, and she does it while also looking and dressing like a woman they'd like to subjugate. But they can't! It's enraging.

I'm not even much of a Swift fan (I find a lot of her music mid, save for a few songs, and I don't really love her public persona) but the idea that she was booed by her own fans because they are upset about her politics or her boyfriend? Babe, no. Her fans weren't there and still love her. She was booed by the patriarchy because they hate a powerful woman, especially one who is also relatively young and pretty and seems to revel in both those things -- those women are supposed to be for decoration only.

The context of this is really important. There were rumors he would propose to her if they won. Before his most high profile game & and a game fans thought he might propose to her at he chose to dress like a buffoonish 70s pimp? That seems like something you'd wear to spite your "girlfriend." It's giving... I'm an immature clown and this relationship contract is ending so I'm going to dress defiantly. Thumbing his nose at their relationship on the way out. It's certainly NOT giving... I'm a maturing hot jock who's going to propose to my future wife after we win this Super Bowl.

I saw all ages booing her lol. No they have it right, a talented airhead whose poor judgement has gotten her into hot water. She is far from powerful SMH.

NFL fans are really tired on her and especially the Kelces (plural) being shoved down their throats all year. Plus Swift stepped into politics during the Harris campaign. Trump has a very high approval rating right now.

Nothing mature or hot about that guy lol. You could be right, maybe they will be breaking up soon. I predict it won't last.

I don't think he's hot at all but a good stylist can make a jock like him look suave, stylish, and masculine (see Philly's quarterback pre-game outfit below). Kelce's pimp outfit just shows he's still deeply immature, he had no intention of proposing to her, and he clearly didn't seek her advice on it. It makes it sound like a fake relationship, to me.

She was literally an Eagles fan and she's from PA and is now rooting for the Chiefs.

It’s 100% this. The crowd was overwhelmingly eagles fans and she has sinned against them. It’s not MAGA, it’s the unhinged Philly fandom (I am an eagles fan).

Yeah it’s a football game and she’s an extremely famous person supporting the chiefs. People boo the other team at football games

I like her. I've seen her in concert several times.

But unlike a large portion of Swifties, I don't see her as some kind of female savior. She's a talented pop star and seems to be a good person. I don't believe she needs to have an opinion on or speak out on every social issue. Her job is Pop Star. She never signed up to a politician. Expecting more of her than their elected officials is so pathetic.

I saw so many Swifties on social media saying they were about done with her and Travis Kelce because he didn't speak out about Trump when asked a question during the pre-game interviews. Like, babes, do you know how PR works? All the biggest players who are in front of media are given guidelines on how to answer tough questions like that. Kelce's answer was fine. Hurts answer was fine. No one specifically said "He's terrible. I wish he wouldn't come." And no one would do that because it'd be career suicide.

Swifties also equated her wearing white to being neutral and not wanting to root for her boyfriend over her hometown team. GMAFB! Have they even read any interviews from Ed Kelce? He literally states that Swift knew very little about football when she first started coming to games but worked hard to study up and is now a pro. She wore white because that's what all the WAGs were wearing.

Swifties can be exhausting, and I include myself as one. But ISTG, some of y'all make it hard af out there.

It's really not that deep. I like TS but she is overexposed (not referring to how often they show her at NFL games which really isn't terribly often - it's everything).
