| This is the reason democrats would lose unless they recognize and try to find a solution of robberies and crime. |
You mean the robberies and crime that spiked under Trump?
https://thehill.com/opinion/criminal-justice/4658521-trump-is-riding-an-imaginary-crime-wave/ And Democrats clearly have found a solution, because crime has been falling sharply since the Democrats took over:
https://www.wsj.com/us-news/violent-crime-rate-falls-sharply-after-pandemic-surge-c8059d4b What a classic right wing post - be completely ignorant of the situation, blame the Democrats for something the Republicans caused, then accuse the Democrats of not fixing it when they are the only adults in the room actually doing something about it. You've probably made the same idiotic posts about the other issues you have no comprehension of - the border, the economy, and everything else Fox News and OAN have lied to you about. But I guess it's not your fault - if you had the ability to think critically and check facts you wouldn't be a Republican in the first place. |
Agreed. We do have to deal with it but both sides will have to be willing to compromise and concede on certain areas...which I don't see happening because both sides have lost their common sense. |
Carjackings in DC skyrocketed so much during the Biden administration that Congress had to get involved. So much for taxation without representation… It’s all these corrupt judges and prosecutors. Carjack an old women outside of a hospital and you get off a free woman, as long as you register Democrat. |
Both sides, hmm. Can you name a Republican health policy proposal that the Democrats rejected? |
So you think the President of the United States is responsible for crime in DC? Dude you need to go get your GED. Why are people actually engaging with you? It’s like trying to have an adult discussion with a kid who really wants to believe the moon is made of cheese. |
| There are a lot more modern Democrats in there are Republicans. I don't know what happened to the Republican Party because I used to be one. I grew up as Republican but they lost me many elections ago. |
No because honestly health care coverage hasn't been a top priority for me. The importance of having a stable job with benefits including health care coverage is what I'm focused on and what I tell young adults including my own...it's important to get a job that has good benefits, including health insurance. On the flip side...growing up my parents had their own very small business with a few employees and did not provide health care coverage...as soon as there was talk that they would be required to provide it, they shut down the business because they were barely making any profit as it was. |

All the moderate Dems are alive and well and voted for Biden/Harris and will vote for Harris. None of them are tempted to vote for Trump.
I know some moderate Republicans who voted for Clinton and Biden. Trump was a non-starter for true moderate Republicans. |
So you feel that both sides should compromise but you don’t know what the Republican position on healthcare is? Am I reading you correctly? Why do you have a strong enough opinion to say both sides need to compromise if it’s not your priority and you’re not aware of each side’s proposals? Are you aware, for example, that the infamous Obamacare was mostly the vestiges of a Republican proposal by the Heritage foundation? And that Republicans screamed bloody murder over it anyway? |
As a moderate Republican who voted for Trump, then Biden and now probably Harris...I hope the next four years go by quick regardless of who wins. But if it's Harris I'll bide my time and if we get a moderate Republican or moderate Dem to run they will get my full support because we need more balance. I am tired of being a ping pong. |
you conveniently left out the psychotic break of the far left. the fear mongering and belief that the world will actually end under Trump is alive and well. not to mention burning of American flags and literal pro-terrorism rhetoric in response to Biden’s Israel policy and support. |
Funny that you think you can speak for everyone. The hubris and entitlement is astounding. |
This. The far left is also a cult. The problem is we’ve lost independent critical thinking in favor of group think all around. Left socialist who is now a moderate here. I’m not voting for either party. You have all lost your damn minds. |
But the far left has almost no representation among elected Dems and the far right is the mainstream of elected R’s. |
