What happened to the Moderate Dem or Rep??

Both are equally to blame.

The moderates are running the Democratic Party and the country.

Joe Manchin is wholly owned by coal and energy interests and the Democratic equivalent of Larry Hogan but with more grift. No thanks.

I know all you moderates are truly convinced you’re the smartest, most rational people ever, but you’re slowly boiling to death in a fire started by the GOP and you’re mad at the people noticing it’s getting hot. You’re not rational, you’re not moderate.

I could go on, but you “common sense” people are over sensitive and under thinking.

You, sir, are part of the problem. Because it is both sides.

Let’s see, one party manipulates things to the point that they, despite having lost the popular vote in most of the last elections, have been able to nominate six judges, each of whom lied in their confirmation hearings, under oath and televised. They have undone women’s rights to their own body and are going for more. They are openly challenging what “America” means and they plan to enshrine grift and corruption in the government. They plan on making the non-political political and putting church officials in schools as well as mandating Christian teaching (which has already happened in Ohio).

I’m sure you all will claim this ermagerd so extreme, the pp is so extremist but this is reality. It has happened. It is happened. But you’re mad because of reasons.

Haha. I also think people who throw the terms “left wing” and “progressive” as insults truly no idea what those terms originally means.

Left wing stems from the fact that those who use to represent interests of the labor class sat on ten left hand spire of the room. Progressive just means a desire for progressive in positive change.

I am proudly a progressive left winger and hope the D party doesn’t die a slow death of “being moderate” (ie fraction of the party that thinks we are all good and no change needed).

There is a lot of room in the democratic tent for people who are pro-choice and don't want crazy running the country.

Is there room for pro-life?

Politicians now are presented or present themselves as "stars" as they appear too much when they should have their heads down and working for the people. Technology, while it has its advantages, has also created many of the messes that now exist. The toothpaste is out of the tube though at this point.

Simply way too many idiots in this country that were willing to vote for people like Trump and Biden in 2020 and 2024. Can't fix stupid.

Democrats have abandoned labor and support the desires of the laptop class.

the right is so so so far right that reagan looks practically middle of the road at this point.
THe left is divided.

Personally I think Obama was one of the more conservative presidents we have had--conservative not as a political lideology but as a way of leading. Definitely centrist. I miss those days.

Being "center" is such an easy cop out. Literally name a time when the center didn't just "Both sides." If both sides have been wrong since 1776 and you still can't define yourself with either party, maybe your view is just, you know, unpopular. Most Americans are represented by either party.

Moderate Dem is kind of like a Rep from the 70s. Moderate Rep no longer exists. They're MAGA.

77 next month. Have you ignorant Americans not learned your lesson with the elderly POTUS candidates through the Trump/Biden debacle over the past 7 years?

You will have literally nothing to back this up with. Meanwhile the GOP actually hates labor and the working class, really anything that gives regular people any rights at all, they’re opposed to it.

It's also just not true. The democrats have not listened to their progressive wing and just tell them to keep voting because "dur, Republicans evil." Anyone who thinks the Democrats are some radical left wing party should go look back at the 2012 presidential debates and here how similar Obama's message is to Biden's and look me in my face and tell me there's any similarity between Romney and Trump. Also, older dems sucked...you want Bill Clinton types to run this nation?
