Maybe because no shiny new things came out to tryouts? I’m sure if enough capable girls did come out, some current players would have been replaced.

Can you also imagine the promises that were made to a few of the better players to get them to stay?

If they’re already winning a ton why change things up? All they really needed to do was add a couple pieces..

Nice to see a program actually committed to developing players and sticking with them.

To be fair- they are currently playing in a lower level league and doing well. Maybe that changes with GA and maybe it doesn’t.

Doesn’t matter who they play. They’re up their competing with the best of the best

Sounds very coachy. When it seems like they’re being funny/sarcastic but they’re trying to be serious.

Tonight will be a good idea of real interest as the older age groups have their ID sessions.

Knowing SYC from the boys side, I would bet money that kids would be dropped to a lower team if a large number of fantastic players came to tryouts. And if there are marginal players at the tryouts, they will be promised practice time with the GA team to try and improve their second teams. But what will happen over the next 6 months to year, is SYC will be recruiting girls from surrounding teams for their GA team. So, a few girls will stay, but ultimately many of the girls that are on the team now will be replaced and the girls that are replaced will move on to other teams, be dropped to a lower team, or quit soccer all together due to their dreams being crushed.

They did it to the boys; now it's the girls turn.

I dont think was this person said is very coachy Hands down theyve played the top competition and have had more success than most local teams. I mean this is public information. I think this team will do just well even if it wasn't GA. Just my 2 cents

Unless the kid is kicking some serious ass and lights it up consistently, it's going to take nerves of steel to navigate that cutthroat environment but who knows maybe it will be different.

More like GA is building larger Mid Atlantic Conference presence.

And they’re doing it with a club that’s a glorified rec program. Go GA!

More like watering down the Mid Atlantic with that admission

Revolution can't even field a girl's team in every NCSL division.
