I haven’t seen any threads on this but I’m not sure how the SCOTUS can take up this case with Thomas and Alito already having some now very public ties to the individuals that could significantly benefit from it. Sounds like they have already has broken existing precedent by the court just agreeing to hear the case:

There are no rules for the GOP. This is why the far right spent billions installing an incompetent and corrupt religious tribunal where once there was a court. |
It continually blows my mind that Republicans, once again pretending to be obsessed by “law and order,” have zero issues with their party’s open corruption. |
Ah, we all just have “misimpressions.” We’re all just “learning more about civics” now. https://jezebel.com/amy-coney-barrett-thinks-people-have-misimpressions-of-1850783513

You should clarify that they are all former Thomas clerks, people whose careers he made. |
How many of them were on Ginni's insurrection email list? |
Oooh, the entire Federalist Society, including the indicted John Eastman. Impressive. 🙄 |
And one of them is none other than John Eastman, a true paragon on virtue and ethics. |
John Eastman, isn’t he one of those sick sods who tried to overturn the election? That John Eastman? And he thinks his hot partisan take is helpful because…? Of course the dirtbag Fed Soc people support Thomas. You find greater honor among crank addicts. |
