Ha, I'm a youngish DC private school mom and certainly feel this way, that is certain days I look tired and old. Especially since I work full time. Wish there was more understated glamor. Seems like we either get dowdy or flash and trash, no in between (I mean the designer romper on a 40 plus women worn to pick up/walk in is nothing short of disturbing). Men have always dressed better in DC, peacock syndrome.
