She somehow seemed so childish, maybe because of her height. How old is she supposed to be? |

I enjoyed it and I thought that Anthony and Kate had good chemistry. No, the characters aren't completely gorgeous (with the exception of Edwina), but they're interesting.
Eloise was a little much, but I loved Penelope. I especially enjoyed her conversation with the seamstress-- her intelligence (which she seems to hide from everyone) came across. The dresses were beautiful. |
| Can we talk about Lady Featherington (Portia)? I love her over the top character and her scheming. Always interesting to watch! |
| Portia has the best gowns too! |
Yeah agree, they didn't do the dual-culture thing all that well. It just felt like an afterthought. They also kind of mixed a lot of things (calling Didi/Bon - Hindi, but then their dad was "Appa" - Tamil). I kept wondering why the girls were getting married in white wedding dresses instead of saris also. |
Who is Meghan? What does she have to do with anything? |
Really? I also watch Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam movies and the colorism and desire for more “western” looking actresses is painfully clear in casting for all the film industries you mentioned. Name a dozen actresses you find prettier and we can tell whether or not you’re one of the self hating Indians who dislikes dark skin. |
She has a great bod. I am also well endowed and aspire to age like her. |
| I thought Kate was beautiful especially when her hair was down. The makeup artist did a great job because her skin almost had a glow to it. |
She’s ugly in both. |
You’re in the minority for a reason. You’re probably the Pete Davidson stan. Yuck. |

Just finished the entire season. Wow, it was bad. Kate and Anthony just don’t do it for me at all. Everything seemed forced and contrived.
I’m going back now to rewatch the scene where Anthony and Sienna hooked up at a sporting event underneath the bleachers. Now that was chemistry! |
I noticed that too. Always yellow or orange. |
DP. I stopped watching all Indian movies (Bollywood and South) a decade ago for this reason. Fake and plastic-looking actors and actresses, unrealistic plots with OTT wealth. Fun for escapism in your teens and 20s, seems pointless now. Then again, I don’t watch English-language movies either except for a few interesting ones here and there (like 5 per year) |

I absolutely loved the scene when Eloise discovered Penelope was Lady Whistledown.
Why was a Colin dissing his friend to the guys? Very un gentleman like. Kate and Anthony start making love outside before marriage with people right at the house? Ridiculous. |
