Haha.. Hate watching! Now I know why I was feeling confused while watching the season. Wanted to shut it off but at the same time continued watching.

The facial hair, the perfect combed eyebrows, the way he was talking all affected just didn’t fit with my vision, not my type. I’m so surprised people think he’s hot.

Same here.. I found him so unattractive.. downright ugly.. Did not want to watch because of him

I read all the books several times. Loved most of them. The first season was good and close enough to original story and realities regency period to be believable and yet updated and modern enough to add fun and sparkle.

Season 2 story line changes and the complete disregard for all Regency behavioral norms ruins the tale completely. The Indian angle is awful and makes no sense. The changes to the Pall Mall game made me want to cry - one if the funniest parts of the book(s) and they left those particular moves out except for a couple. Just an utterly disappointment.

Oh and Eloise is portrayed horrifically. She is dressed and coiffed as ugly as possible. Her “rebellion” is trite and far too modern. Eloise’s book was a bit dry but they have made her thoroughly unlikable in the tv show.

Agree.. Kate cannot act! As simple as that. She couldn't produce one emotion on that face. Not a likeable character because of poor casting.
And why the Indian angle? It makes everything so confusing and full!

Aka “no one else wanted to hire me, so I might as well come back”

Of course. So? Yay!

Eh, the guy who played Anthony is a much better actor and I preferred his character. I also enjoyed Daphne more in the sibling dynamic than the romantic one. Rege-Jean will probably just make a few appearances anyway, which is fine.

The guy who played Anthony is obviously gay and not believable. Reg Jean is hot, and his chemistry with Daphne in Season 1 was amazing! Season 2 & 3 were dull because the actors were miscast and unattractive.
