Oh thank goodness you did!! You would have 100% absolutely gotten COVID with your vaccine and mask. It must be very satisfying to be so very wise.

Yep. This is why I quit my library job and won't go back. whether there is a county mandate or not, now is.nit the time for most people to give up masks. Even pre Covid there were an enormous number of people in this area going places sick or dragging along sick kids. The stupid, it hurts.

Not trying to be snarky- but with this line of thinking, are you willing to work anywhere indoors?
Due to covid, tt seems that people now have little to no tolerance for any sickness in society- even a normal amount. Zero illness is not realistic or healthy.

Mandate will go back into effect, but not sure exactly when.

If this were real and not theater, it would back into effect tomorrow. Waiting makes it look like theater.

To be fair to Stoddard (and Gayles), they wanted 14 consecutive to prevent this situation of going back and forth. Riemer and Friedson wanted seven days and they prevailed. I can't blame them for wanting to handcuff Gayles and Stoddard after more than a year of them being unreasonable.

That’s how it was last time. People are afraid to be the first ones and so they’ll wait to see what others are doing. Then they’ll follow suit.

Further proof this place is full of nothing but sheeple. I haven’t worn my mask anywhere since I woke up Thursday morning

It could've been the flu or some other respiratory illness. I'm immunocompromised, so I am cautious.

If you travel, you know most of the country is moving away from masks. We…in moco…are just too caught up on the politics.

All you have to do is cross the river.

The CDC site for 10/29 says moco is moderate with 47.78 per 100K
What the hell is the county playing at?
7 days of lower transmission for mandate to end , then 7 days of higher transmission for mandate to reinstate.
This is turning into a bizarre game.

Most indoor office jobs don't come with people dragging their sick kids or homeless hanging out, or being berated by "tax payers" for wearing a mask and being safer.
So yes, I have another indoor job. Which pays more.

The resolution is here:

I see nothign about needing to use CDC data. The coujnty reports their own data daily, and they can use that.

They will not. They will just let it slide and hope things don't get worse.

If its not a job you are willing to do, then don't complain if someone quits. You should NOT bring your covid, flu, cold sick kids or yourself into public situations except in an emergency like medication if you cannot get it delivered. Common sense.

This just shows how useless the mask mandate is.

If the number went up it’s not because some masks were off. No correlation.
