Two hundred thousand. Not twenty thousand.

Yeah, no, my hearing is fine. They said MAYBE 20,000. Twenty. Thousand.

DP. I can verify that is what they just said. 20,000.

Yep, up to 20,000 early in-person ballots still need to be scanned due to a technical glitch. Not enough to make up the difference.

I don’t see how Fairfax continuing to always have voting glitches is going to help the future political careers of Jeff McKay and the other idiots in charge of county government. If they had a modicum of common sense they would have tried to divide the county into more manageable pieces years ago.

This is what happens when you don’t give us enough time to count mail in ballots. The trump kind stole the election by counting later.

Lol they definitely are on the “Youngkin’s not so bad” bandwagon. I thought Axelrod and Van Jones also did a good job dissecting the problem Dems have with suburban voters.

They all suck and are past their prime.

Do you think Mclellan or Carroll Foy would have won?

I think Youngkin would have been a lot more hesitant to playthe “CRT” Black boogeyman game if his opponent were a Black person.

Really?

Yes, really. Trying telling a Black person in a televised debate that racism does exist anymore and then have her shred you with a bunch of specific examples she had personally experienced. Youngkin would not have risked going there.

Isn't his Lt. Governor a black woman?

Well, they finally got rid of Fontes in Maricopa and Pima promptly hired him.

They need to get all but mail-in's in by 10pm or 11 pm in every county, along with a clear count of outstanding ballots. Ridiculous delays like this just fuel conspiracy theories about boxes of ballots being hidden in trunks.

I am from Western Loudoun...there is a big movement of Republicans (a mix of people who are from Loudoun originally and people who moved to Western Loudoun because the closer-in suburbs were too liberal for them).

Is it done? This is so awful. I don’t even live in VA anymore, but I am devastated. What the F is wrong with our country??

Go away and sulk in the corner. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

Bless John King’s heart for repeatedly explaining how it’s essentially mathematically impossible for Terry to win.

He wasn’t bad on the campaign trail either. If you had actually listened to him.

You don’t want to live in VA or the USA?

Agree. Van Jones in particular made what I thought was an appropriately humble point of acknowledging that maybe they need to start listening to moderates and to stop acting so smugly superior. I hope the Democratic Party takes note.

Based on analysis of the vote, ABC News projects that the Republican Youngkin will win the Virginia governor’s race.
