Exactly. What else is the government not going to qualify for you? You're being told what to eat, how much it's 'politically correct' to earn. Some states have advocated for putting devices on your house that allows the government to adjust your heat and A/C. You are being told what cars to drive and how much gas you can use. The law does not legislate the term "rich". The law legislates tax brackets. If they created an extra tax bracket for people making $10M that would not magically make the people below into middle class.
