You are actually like this guy was a criminal genius that planned out every step. He was not (as evidenced by trying to cover the camera with flowers). Even someone that fancies himself a criminal genius has dum slip ups (like Brendan banfield). What LE does is track down all these potential leads hoping they catch the slip up. Dumb criminals might have a lot of slip ups. On your theory, they basically would never catch anyone, if you just assume that the criminal has done everything in the smartest way. Luckily, most criminals are impulsive and not super high iQ, so they do things that are really not the most strategic.

Because the videos are AI. It’s staged. That’s why it took so long to release them and why the details are so vague. Also why the backpack is so easily found from Walmart’s website. Along with the identifiable clothing. On cloud sneakers, etc..

The truth is in plain sight I saw one police live stream mention. It’s not making sense because it doesn’t make sense and everyone is piecing together clues that are not a part of the original plan.

What would you do if you committed a crime and all of a sudden multiple random letters start popping up? You know it wasn’t a kidnapping for ransom. But what do you do? You’re just as confused as the public is now.

It might be a diversion. Brian Entin went briefly on air on the news saying he was near a SWAT staging but refused to give his location.

There does seem to be a media swarm near the bandmate's house but there is no confirmation that is actually where SWAT is. (that is the infamous JLR investigates who often seems like a dog chasing its own tail, so don't put a lot of credence in this. May just be a self-fulfilling prophecy).

Target has very sophisticated security and cameras. Inside and outside the store. Walmart does too but not as good as Target. I watch the crazy shop lifting busts on YouTube. Now most of these criminals are drug addicts so they have meth breath from a mile away.

I think the distinction with a difference here is that checkout cameras can link the purchase to an image of a person / cc if used.

Video cameras for shoplifting would be harder to match to a particular purchase. Plus, I suspect that data is unlikely to be retained as long as checkout cameras.

Not true. There’s a camera or three in every checkout. I once did cash back, then couldn’t remember getting it or putting it in my bag. I called the store three days later because it was driving me crazy. They pulled up cameras based on the time I was there, told me everything I was wearing, then said the cashier handed me two $20s, I folded them in half, and put them in the back part of my wallet. Wouldn’t you know they were there. Cameras are everywhere.

I’d assume band member lives within 6 miles of Nancy’s home as well. I’m venturing given the size of Tucson and potential band practices, that they all live relatively close to each other. That’s why SWAT would be present.

More evidence of my belief that law enforcement is using social media to solve this case for them. It was social media that discussed the band mate’s rap sheet and resemblance to the perp. Yesterday, someone on Reddit noted what looked like a tattoo on the right wrist of the burglar and the band mate/drummer in one of Early Black’s music videos has a tattoo in the same right wrist (apparently that is Dominic Evans, the band mate)

Fox said source says that doesn’t mean they have any involvement they always detain whoever is at a place where they have a warrant. Swat vehicle left, but a bunch of other vehicles have arrived. Given his supposedly answers this house. I kind of wonder if it’s just another swatting like the poor carlos guy. PCSD is now saying they will not have a live briefing, but there will be a written statement.

I don’t see any EMTs fire trucks or anything like that that would indicate they have any expectation that Nancy could be there

Target keeps the videos for a long time. The wait until the petty shoplifter becomes a felony shoplifter in the amount of $$ they have stolen. It's crazy. The cameras they have can zoom in and see if you're switching tags and prices.
